I was very impressed with the softness and coloration of the washable rug I ordered. I had no problems with wrinkles or creases when I rolled it out and the rug's design is very stylish! (I ordered the tumeric colored one.) The edges lay flat and the backing keeps the rug from sliding. But the greatest thing I have experienced is that fluids like water, coffee, urine, etc. don't penetrate thru the fibers like a standard rug! You literally can wipe up the spill easily and not worry about staining it or having a smell! I have a new puppy and already have seen how great it works when there is an accident. I look forward to seeing how it washes but will follow the instructions closely so not to damage it. I plan to order another soon as it is a great value for the money, a fraction of what other companies charge. So don't hesitate as you will be pleased. Knowing that the rug would inevitably get dirty being as it was intended for the kitchen, I was looking for an aesthetically pleasing rug that is also reasonably priced and machine washable. I was a little skeptical of the quality considering the price, but it is made with such great quality. The color and design are so vibrant and the material used is so soft. When I bought this rug, I was very skeptical that it could be washed in a washing machine. We've had it for a year, and it looked great. Then my son spilled juice all over it. I figured I'd try washing it in the washing machine before just buying a new one. It came out looking brand new! I laid it to dry overnight. It retained its shape. The rug came neatly packaged. It unwrapped with ease with no wrinkles. Colors are nice, the rug is a low pile, thin and soft material. There was no noticeable smells when taken out of packaging. The issue I’m having is I cannot vacuum the rug as it’s so thin. The material keeps getting caught in the rotating brush and I’m unable to properly clean the rug. You would need a manual push vacuum in order to clean this. I do have a robot vacuum that does clean over it fine though. These rugs are aesthetically nice but are not meant to last. ... show more
