Received in early August, seems to be good so far using it for college work, did buy the warranty, The specs were correct., Came with Win 10, and I can upgrade to 11 at no cost. DO NOT BUY anything under GEN 8 (i5 or i7 - 8xxx or higher on the processor!!) One thing, there are two ways to offer a refurb PC, The Microsoft way which requires a Refurb DPK for the OS, and using the original DPK for the OS, not much of a difference, but with the Refurb DPK the customer should set up the PC, accept the T's&C's set up UN and PW, or a Pin. With the OEM the OS has been set up already, just a slight concern. Today you will be hard pressed to find a Amazon Renewed PC with a refurb DPK for the OS. Other than that, no issues. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It hasn't even been a month after purchase and when I was entering my PIN to log in it suddenly shut down and won't turn back on. I'm contacting the seller to see what I can do, if this thing works again I'll update this review. Edit: I ended paying to fix this laptop, now, it is turning on, $130 was my invoice. ... show more

The battery didn’t charge- the plug didn’t work but there were no more to replace so ended up buying a new one much more expensive. Refund took a long time almost a month

Battery seems to be in good shape. Machine works perfectly and shows almost no signs of wear. I'm running Ubuntu, but Windows seemed to work fine also. The trackpad has 3 buttons (you'd never guess), but middle click requires some precision. I do miss the page-up/page-down buttons from the 7xxx series, otherwise no complaints. ... show more
