I’ll start off by saying I have 4 kids ranging in age from 11 years to 10 months so I’m not new to the car seat world. Shipped relatively fast. Received it in about a week and a half. My 10 month old is notorious for hating car seats. Ever since he was a newborn he cried anytime he was put in his infant Britax bsafe 35. He LOVES this seat. Not a single tear shed and no fights to get him in it. After doing extensive research to find a good, highly recommended, comfortable convertible car seat with extended rear facing capabilities. I was going back and forth between this and the Graco 4ever extend2fit. Because of the harness and buckle that springs out of the way so I’m not digging car seat straps out from behind a wiggly baby/toddler this car seat won my vote. And I couldn’t not be happier with my choice. It’s better than I imagined. Soft, cushioned and stylish. So easy to adjust without having to unthread the straps. Manual was easy to follow to get it properly set up for my baby’s height and one of the easier car seats I’ve ever installed. Having had tried all the more popular somewhat budget friendly seats from graco, safety first, diono, britax, evenflo and cosco I absolutely love our Maxi Cosi Magellan xp max and wish I had heard of them with my older children! ... show more

So far ( about month in) car seat is great. Very comfortable and my daughter does not fuss to get in, willingly sits in it and even try to buckle herself up (she can’t , she is 18 months old 🙂). The magnetic chest buckle is very easy, nice future. Lots of padding. Bit bulky, but that what I expected. I wish cup holders were bigger as some of hers do not fit in. Also having a little bit trouble to buckle her in the buckle between legs. Seems to be awkward. Yet it has nice padding to prevent from accidental snap of their skin ( ouch 😓) or clothing. She rides and sleeps in it so comfortably . ... show more

My baby loves it!! It is comfortable, doesn’t take up much space, and most of all it’s easy to buckle and unbuckle. Sometimes my baby is sleeping and it is silent and doesn’t wake her up when putting her in the car seat and taking her out of it as well. I love it!! My 19 month old loves his new car seat. Very comfy. I have a Jeep Cherokee and this seat fits well behind passenger seat. Can be a tight fit in smaller cars. So far so good. The seat is beautiful and definitely worth the money. Easy to adjust to child’s fit as well.

I bought this based off reviews stating how hard the chest clip was to undo. My daughter is a special needs escape artist and I was so hoping this would work. This car seat is easy to use and feels very well built. The slide action for the different positions feels very smooth. Unfortunately for us, this model is just slightly too large for my wife's small sized SUV.

    • Nice carseat, but confusing installing
Installation took a bit to figure out and the headrest and straps don't tighten/go up the easiest when child is in seat but otherwise very nice carseat and goes tighter then a diono carseat. Love that I can use latch points and seat belt at the same time.

    • Love this seat.
My daughter seems to love this seat. She content to just sit there even when the car has stopped which was not the case with her old seat. I do wish it was easier to move from vehicle to vehicle, but overall great seat. I have not had any problems with cupholder size which others have mentioned.
