  • Great Product, But Requires Technical Know-How
Size: 32G/512G SSD + 3T/GTX 1660 Super
***Updated*** I will be honest and transparent to what has transpired and have the emails to prove it. First, this is sold by SJ computers out of MN courtesy of Amazon, so I will not say anything bad about Amazon other than doing business with these guys. After posting this I was waiting on the new power supply to come in so I could install it. That was a Thursday I think and was told that they would send it and I would have it in 4 to 5 days. I then sent a inquiry in the buyer seller messages inquiring only to be sent a generic cut and paste email telling me that the "rgb headset" was lost in transit and they would send the power supply as soon as possible. Notice they forgot to change RGB to power supply. I asked in a reply where the proactive notification was that this was lost. No response but a phone call from Aaron who told me that they never actually sent the new power supply because they were concerned it wouldn't fit. So while on the call he told me that they would replace the model but I needed to send the computer back first. Now I objected to this as this was their fault and I shouldn't have to wait. After being told that their owner didn't take calls (Karen of me I know), I told them I would check with my son, who the computer was actually for and if he was ok with it. He agreed and so we boxed it up immediately. Now I was told by Aaron they would send it same day we sent the other back. Which we did. We have the new PC, drive is hooked up and running and my son loves it. Internal network sucks but we had another card we through in and it works great. Even though they resolved the issue I honestly would not buy another product from these guys as they are just shady. 1) To first allow a PC out of their store not as advertised without a quality check is unacceptable. They knowingly left the 3TB drive in the PC without power knowing there was not a connection from the power supply to connect it and if I did connect it that it wouldn't power it up. 2) They decided over those 4-5 days that the power supply they were going to send would not fit, yet found it OK to send a generic email response saying it was lost in transit where they only changed 1 product name from RGB headset to power supply. This proves it happens repeatedly and they have to cut and paste a lie to their customers who don't know any better or hold them accountable. Everything I have said is 100% fact with emails to back it up which they have acknowledged. Please be aware of who Amazon is relying on to ship their product as they may or may not be shady. _____________________________________________________________________________________I recently purchased this from Amazon, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with its performance. However, I feel it's important to share my experience with the initial setup, as it may help others who aren't as technically inclined. Firstly, I must commend the seller's customer support for their prompt assistance. After encountering a problem with the product, I reached out to them and had a FaceTime session to diagnose the issue. It turns out that the second hard drive was not powered on upon arrival, and the power supply included in the package was insufficient to support it. Thankfully, the company was quick to acknowledge the problem and offered a suitable resolution. They promptly sent me a larger power supply that will be able to handle the additional hard drive. I appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to rectify the situation. While I understand that technical issues can sometimes arise, it would have been more convenient if the product arrived fully set up and ready to use as advertised. This would have saved me the hassle of troubleshooting and contacting customer support. However, I must emphasize that if you're not comfortable with technical configurations or troubleshooting, you might encounter similar challenges with this product. It requires some basic technical knowledge to ensure proper setup and functioning, particularly when it comes to powering additional hard drives. In conclusion, I'm ultimately pleased with the performance and functionality of the product, just now waiting for the new power supply to install.. The company's excellent customer support and commitment to resolving the issue are commendable. Just be aware that the initial setup might require some technical expertise like going into Drive Management to format the second drive which they can provide a guide for if needed. ... show more

  • Good Basic PC, Needs Improvements.
Size: 32G/512G SSD + 3T/GTX 1660 Super
I bought this computer for my girlfriend so that she can have a decent pc for games and so that we can game together. If you are like me, you have researched a PC that will handle the most graphicly demanding games you play. I have done that before purchasing this one. Just to put this into perspective, I have replaced numerous components on my personal pc that I have been upgrading for years. So let's break this down. 1. Like all other reviews said, DO NOT expect the Wi-Fi to work properly. Buy your own Wi-Fi adapter or use an ethernet cable. You maybe limited to where the computer is located, but if you like where it is, then not a problem. 2. GET A NEW POWER SUPPLY. You need to get a better power supply. My PC was running a NVIDIA GTX 1660 single fan, the fan stopped working so I replaced it with a 1660 Super OC, a little different than this computer. The reason I am saying this is because when I originally upgraded my GPU to play my more demanding games, I had to upgrade my power supply. This leads me to my main complaint. The GTX 1660 needs a 475 watt power supply minimum to run decent games. One of my girlfriend's games crashed and the pc would disconnect from HDMI. Also when I put the new power supply in, I noticed that they added multiple SATA and PCI-e connectors to supply power to the GPU. When the GPU is not supplied with enough power it will crash. This PC crashed multiple times before I replaced the supply. I have not had any issues with it crashing since then. You can get a 700 Watt power supply for under $100. 2.1 When I reported the power supply issue to customer service they wanted me to return it for another pc. I was not about to do that because I would still have to buy a new power supply regardless. 2.2 Word of advise before replacing the power supply please get the pc model and download the manual from Dell so that you know where everything is inside. There was a peice of hardware that I needed to take out and put back in because I was not getting power after connecting the new supply. What started off as a 10 minute installation took a little longer. I had to do a hard reset of the pc, (not windows, so files were not effected). There were also some issues loading windows up after, but I think that was something I did. 3. It can get a little noisy. I have had loud computers before, this is not one of them, however the fan can run a little loud compared to normal fans, other than that it is virtually silent. 4. The LED lights keeps turning on by themselves. Not a big concern, but they also cycle through the different modes without touching the remote. Now the good stuff. This is short don't worry. Aside from the few issues we had, this is a great starter PC. The CPU (Intel i-7) is and older version, but it is powerfull enough to do what is needed. The graphics card is great and plays most games you can think of. The amount of memory is not bad either. It is easy to switch to where you are downloading your files. Connecting via ethernet cord is probably the best since we don't move the computer arround. Keyboard and mouse are good. USB ports all work, they even closed off the port that links to the integrated gpu slot so you connect to the correct graphics card. It runs smooth and boots up fast. All in all, it is not a bad pc, that is why it got 3 stars. I expected to have some issues due to not paying for a brand new PC and that is okay. I just was not expecting to have to spend nearly $100 for a power supply. For those that are researching for a good gaming PC under $500, My purchase is a Dell Optiplex 9010. Look at the original specs on Dell's website before making a decision to buy this one. ... show more
