I've done a fair amount of reading about the different lines Dell produces. My previous two computers were Studio XPS's, which actually did present problems of various kinds over the years. Then there's the Optiplex (had one of those, kind of slow, but it was some years ago) and Inspiron (don't really know about these except that the laptops seemed to remain kind of fat and heavy). And then, there's Vostro. The only bad thing I read about these, and I don't think it's really bad, is that it's primarily for home use, even though it's called a Business Desktop (maybe because most non-business users work on laptops now?), which is exactly where I use it. I like my Dell wireless keyboard and mouse and my 27" Asus screen. Between Dropbox and iCloud, I don't need a a 2TB drive. Mine is 1TB. Plenty. Seems to me to be a good quality build. So the price is fair and it's really fast and easy to use, and it doesn't weigh a ton. I'm completely satisfied. ... show more

This computer was supposed to be new. When we opened it, a screw was rattling around inside the case, it was not covered with plastic like they normally are, the box was beat up like it had been opened and resealed a few times, there was a SATA cable that was rattling around and loose and it had some scuff marks on the case. We turned on the computer and the BIOS had a warning message that the memory was recently changed which means somebody opened it and added or removed memory. ... show more
