I had this for about two weeks and it only worked one day. It's made of very cheap materials, the app is not user friendly, and it isn't reliable as an alarm clock at all. It didn't ship the first time, and then when I went to return it I never got my refund. I dropped it off at the post office weeks ago now and the refund status is still pending. I should have listened to the other reviews for this product. They were right. Not worth the money or the headache.

The alarm and brightness work well, but the clock does not keep the correct time. It’s constantly wrong. You can manually reset it, but then you lose alarm customization, which defeats the purpose of an alarm clock. I bought this at the end of November and it started malfunctioning within weeks. I’ve tried unplugging and hard resets; sometimes the time fixes itself, then drifts again. Right now it’s 10:18 PM and the clock says 2:11 AM. The Help Center is useless and doesn’t even seem to cover this product. An alarm clock that can’t tell time is a waste of money.

If you want a weekday alarm, you must put this clock on your network time. However, it is always wrong. Everything else in my house On network time is the correct time except this clock. If I turn off network time and manually set it to the correct time then the alarm doesn't go off everyday because network time is not turned on. So as an alarm clock it is completely useless. The photo shows the clock saying 4:08 am at 7:00 am.

For decades, I’ve owned an alarm clock that finally went up in smoke—literally. The Dekala Smart Sunrise alarm clock is its replacement. These days, one would think that alarm clocks have gone the ways of the dinosaur because of our cell phones. I feel this is partially true but, I feel it is good practice (for many reasons) during our morning routines, not to look at or handle our cellphones. The alarm clock has a few wonderful merits as well as a few drawbacks as outlined below: PROS: 1. The various clock light color options with brightness level is very enhancing to the senses. Depending on what color light you choose, it brings forth a certain calmness during the night compared to cellphones. 2. There are four different alarm time settings. A very nice feature, if there’s a need. 3. The various selection of alarm sounds are very soothing to the senses. There are sounds of nature, birds chirping, waterfall, as well as other chimes It’s nice not to be woken up to a blaring alarm. 4. The app that needs to be downloaded is very easy to navigate and has many nice features. CONS: 1. I’m not fond of the alarm clock legs that need to be put on the clock to have it stand up. They feel very thin and fragile, perhaps that is why the company includes two extra legs. I honestly don’t know if it’ll stand the test of time—pun intended! 2. The snooze button is situated on the top but feels awkward to me. I can’t see myself reaching over in the middle of the night and gently tapping the snooze button without risking of knocking the clock over on its tiny peg legs. It would only be a matter of time before that clock would go flying off my nightstand. 3. The FM Radio sound is not of high quality. There’s a lot of annoying disturbance. In conclusion, the lighting and nature sound of this alarm clock allows for a pleasurable experience. The build quality and FM radio need to be worked on.
