    • Easy to assemble, with some areas for improvements
Shipment of the components came in two separate boxes. Assembly is relatively straightforward and can be completed in a few hours - bed assembly was straightforward while the shelves take longer but overall not complicated. Once fully assembled the design looks great too. Having said that, some areas of improvement to point out: 1. The labeling of the parts are wrong in several cases, for the shelves. Involving the horizontal panels that have 3 identical pieces but have different slots for screws depending on their exact location in thr shelves. 2. Some of the finishing needs improvement. The paint job is not complete for some of the pieces although not at visible areas once assembled 3. Structurally the joint between the 2 sections of the L shaped shelves can be further improved. There are only 2 screws in effect holding the 2 sections together ... show more

    • Took a while to assemble
I am happy with this bed/desk. The only thing I am not happy with is the fact the mattress does not fit within the "cabinet". I bought the mattress they recommended, and I have yet to figure out where to store it. That was my only disappointment.

    • Missing parts & pieces fabricated incorrectly

Two of the boards/pieces were fabricated incorrectly so that they don’t properly fit where the instructions are illustrating that they should. Screw holes to secure a portion of the shelving are in the total wrong piece. It took me building and rebuilding this portion three times to figure this out. The bag of #10 screws to secure the backing to the shelves is TOTALLY MISSING. Not even in the hardware collection. So frustrating. Quality control on the final product is horrible. ... show more

Good value relative to the money paid. If you want very high quality then you should be going to a furniture store, not Amazon, and pay accordingly. Instructions are quite adequate if you can follow directions. Although I had to squint a lot, even while wearing my reading glasses. I had no issues with the instructions. Seems sturdy enough if you're not abusive to furniture. ... show more

A handyman just put this bed together for my daughter’s new room and it looks good! I’m including a pic here to show (1) the size of one drawer (in the stock photos, it’s hard to tell if there is one long drawer or two shorter ones) and (2) that a twin mattress can fit underneath for storage if you choose to use the space for that instead of the rolling drawers.     • Not quite as pictured

Bought this bed as a Christmas gift for my son. It took forever to assemble as several pieces were mislabeled resulting in having to un assemble and reassemble. Additionally in the pictures it doesn’t show the Allen wrench screws that are used to secure the pieces together. These screws are everywhere. They could have drilled the holes in so they could of at least provided screw covers. And the drawers…are on wheels not a track, and the sides of them are much shorter than the front so they aren’t even full drawers. I plan to buy something else to put under as drawers. At least the bed doesn’t seem like it will break right away but probably won’t be resale able in the future. I wish I would have spent the $300 extra dollars on a different bed. ... show more

    • Uses 100+ screws everywhere, except where needed most

This bed took a lot to put together, pieces weren't labeled accurately which made for some confusion as instructions are just a picture book. Once assembled bed is nice, not amazing just nice. The biggest complaint I have is the product is incorrectly pre fab and when you connect the two bookcases in the corner they do not connect flush with one another leaving a space and has me questioning the structural safety for someone younger. ... show more

My 17 year old daughter loves her new bed. We got it all put together, took a long time to put together only to find the charging station doesn’t work. Contacted the seller, they were able to give me a partial refund or send a new charge port when back in stock.
