I'd used the John Frieda straightening cream. But because I had a new haircut (bob w/ bangs), I wanted to try the expensive straightener cream. At first I thought it was just my imagination that it wasn't working but I used the entire bottle/container with bland results. I went right back to the John Frieda cream. Love this product. It's great for thick hair type. When you don't have time to flat iron your hair. My hair is really thick and I could never find a product to use for a blow dry straight look. My hair always looks puffy and I always have to over do it on the flat iron to get it straight. But it never works. But after trying this straight fixation product my hair feels extra soft and blow drying it was super great. I didn't have to flat iron my hair at all. Only when I need it. Just wish it would help during rainy weather. The straight look doesn't last that long during humidity or rainy weather conditions. I am very pleasantly surprised by this product; I was not expecting it to work as well as it did (I used it for the first time yesterday), as this is the fourth such frizz control product I bought. I have fine hair that is slightly wavy and frizzes easily in humid weather. I get my hair professionally straightened once a year, so I have frizz problems for a few months before I get my hair straightened again. I couldn't believe how well this product worked! After washing my hair I just applied the cream to my towel dried hair and to my disbelief, my hair didn't get frizzy for the entire evening. I didn't have time to blow-dry my hair as my out of town guests arrived earlier than expected (LOL!), and I just dabbed the cream on my hair and combed it. Very pleased with the effect. ... show more

I have always loved John Frieda hair styling products and FRIZZ ease did not disappoint!! My hair length is to the middle of my back and I use very little product. I use a wet brush to ensure it is evenly distributed and then I blowout. My hair is silky smooth and straight. I don’t even use my straightener afterwards.
