Not only did it help straighten out my hair but it definitely helped with the frizz. I didn't use alot of this product either and was worried I didn't use enough at first but it worked great for my hair. I guess because I'm getting older, my hair was getting dry, frizzy, and poofy looking. And with the natural waves in my hair it was a mess. When changing up my shampoo and conditioners didn't help I decided to go looking for some other products. I came across this one, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I'm honestly surprised how well this has worked and wish I would have gotten it months ago. My hair feels extremely soft and even has shine to it. I use a flat iron on my hair just about every day, and since my hair tends to get pretty frizzy with any humidity, I use any product necessary to keep that in check. I have been using this John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Fixation Styling Crème for a while now, and when I was getting low on the product, I couldn't find it at the store (which seemed to be really low on John Frieda products overall), so I decided to buy it online. This styling creme really helps keep the frizz under control. I only use a very small amount on my damp hair - maybe a dime sized amount or less. It really doesn't take much at all. I then blow dry my hair and use a flat iron for straightening. I don't see hardly any frizz at all on days when I use this product, in conjunction with the John Frieda flat iron spray. Overall, it's a good product and works on my hair type, but it might be just a little higher priced than in the store, and it's not Prime eligible so you have to pay for shipping unless you order it with something that qualifies it for free shipping. If I can't find it in the store when I need more, I will probably order it again online. ... show more

I’d been using the “old packaging” formula on my naturally curly hair for decades. The “new packaging” version works the same for me (yay!) but it has a strong men’s woodsy deodorant scent to it now.
