We use dehumidifiers in our non-air-conditioned living areas and basement about half the year to control moisture. The big ones are loud, and the little ones have to be emptied regularly. This unit is a nice compromise. It is quieter than our big basement dehumidifier, but it has the flexibility to drain by hose that the small ones cannot. This unit has many configurable features, but we like the simplicity of setting it up to run continuously with the drain hose to keep the moisture down. The unit is a little smaller than we expected, but it works efficiently and fits into a smaller space (see photo for perspective with a standard soup can). It takes about 12 hours to fill the reservoir when not using the hose, but that will probably vary with your conditions. The reservoir is cleverly designed, because it appears to be small, but holds a surprising amount of water. I like that it has wheels, but can be deployed without to keep it from rolling around. Overall this is a very competitive product, since it is much cheaper than the big dehumidifiers but has many of the same features.

Easy to set up, works quietly, consistent air quality in the basement now. Machine isn’t ugly. Compact sized and the wheels are a nice feature. I opted not to use the tank and use the hose it came with to direct the water right down a drain.

Bought late June. Now, Sept 1st, it no longer collects water. Worked great for 2 months, then it started making a noise and while it continues to run, no water is collected in the chamber! It simply stopped working. Very disappointed.

I am loving this dehumidifier!! I live in the deep south where it stays humid and VERY hot from late sprint until early fall. I wasn't sure if this dehumidifier was going to be large enough to work for my entire home, but so far it's been amazing!! Setup was simple out of the box! I'm using it in the living room of a house that's about 1k square feet and it's doing such a great job of getting the humidity level down below 50% which has allowed me to lower the thermostat by 1 degree point. That will save money on the electric bill as the a/c isn't running as much now. It pulls enough water out of the air that it fills up the tank every 24 hours! Once full, the tank can be removed from the unit very easily so it can be emptied and it does shut off automatically when full. It also has a filter that is easy to remove so it can be cleaned.

The media could not be loaded. I live in East Texas, where the humidity is less of a weather condition and more of a lifestyle. I’ve collected quite a few dehumidifiers over the years — in all shapes and sizes — and this one has definitely earned its spot. Most dehumidifiers are designed to sit on the floor (I think this one is too), but I was looking for something I could keep on a countertop. I wanted it near my dehydrator and — more importantly — didn’t want to bend over every time I empty the tray. This unit fit the bill perfectly, and it looks great, too. The included wheels are a thoughtful bonus. You don’t have to use them — it comes with little rubber feet if you prefer it stationary — but the wheels definitely make it easier to slide around when it’s time to empty the tray. You can hook up a hose for continuous draining, but I find the collection tray is large enough for once-a-day emptying. I usually start it in the morning, and by the next morning it’s full — easy routine. One thing I especially like: it doesn’t automatically restart when you reinsert the tray. My old unit would spring back to life like it had unfinished business, which got annoying. With this one, you just press the start button when you're ready. Simple. It also has a timer (up to 24 hours) and adjustable humidity settings. I haven’t needed the timer yet, but it’s nice to have. Best of all? It’s quiet. In my video, the compressor hadn’t kicked on because I’d just restarted it, and I got impatient waiting in silence — so I ended the clip a moment too soon. Sorry you didn’t get to hear it… but honestly, it’s so quiet you might not have heard much on the video anyway. Overall, I’m really happy with this dehumidifier. It does exactly what I need without fuss. I’ll update this review if anything changes — but for now, it’s a win.

This was showing good and great reviews.... NOT TRUE FOR US~~~~~ We purchased this on September 14, 2025. Due to the work week, we didn't take it to our RV until the next weekend. This was purchased to keep the moisture out of the larger area. Note, we have a smaller one that we have utilized for over a year with zero issues. This setup is easy. The hose was set up to flow in the sink (like the other one)... We plugged it in and waited for 30 minutes to make sure all was good. When we left, it was running fine. We were out of town the previous week, so we checked on it this past Saturday, 10/18/2025. There was no water flow, and the power was off to the RV. We unplugged it, reset the power, and tried a different plug. It tripped everything within 5 minutes. Keep in mind that when we turned on the power, the other one would run. We took it home to see if it was the RV. We plugged it in, and within 24 hours, it tripped the GFI (note ~ never pulled water out). We live in Florida... there is always moisture in our homes. Now we are past the window to return it!! OUT the money and have to purchase another one. SAD and FRUSTRATED!!

pulls water out of air and is good product, BUT it only holds a small amount of water. So unless you have way to eliminate water from your space, you are emptying it twice a day or more. I have in basement and have to go down to empty it continuously. Thank goodness it will shut off when full!
