I bought this big dehumidifier for my basement because it gets so darn musty and wet down there, especially in the summer. Let me tell you, this thing works amazing. It pulls so much water out of the air that I have to empty the bucket way less often than my old one, and it comes with a drain hose so I just let it go right into the floor drain which is super convenient. It runs pretty quiet for such a powerful machine, its not annoying at all, and I love the smart humidity control because I can set it and forget it. My basement feels completely different, dry and clean, and I can tell my energy bill hasn't spiked, so it seems to be pretty energy efficient like they claim. All stars, it was a great purchase I think. Additionally, its easy to use and setup!

I recently bought the DGUAM 80-Pint Dehumidifier for my basement. My basement humidity levels is normal and using dehumidifier can help me remove odor and keep basement dry; The setup was easy; user manual is easy to read; In 5 minutes I setup low speed fan mode and humility level. The unit is very quiet, almost silent on the lower settings. I have a 1000 sq. ft. basement, and it reduces the humidity from over 60% to around 45%. Also, I used pipe connect unit to sump pump, so I don’t have to keep emptying the tank. Unit build is great quality and have some very useful functionalities such like cloth dry mode and ventilation mode, which will help circulate base air Overall, I’m really happy with this dehumidifier and would definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with damp or musty air in their basement. I’ve been using this dehumidifier for a little while now and it’s been doing a solid job in my basement. The setup was straightforward, and the included drain hose is convenient since it saves me from having to empty the tank every day. The humidity levels in my space dropped noticeably within the first 24 hours, and it has been consistent since then. The noise level is reasonable — not silent, but quiet enough that it doesn’t bother me when I’m nearby. I tried the different modes, and the smart humidity control has been the most useful so far. Once it reaches the target humidity level, it doesn’t run constantly, which helps with energy use. The build feels decent and the unit is easy to move around when needed. I recently got this dehumidifier, and I’m really happy with it. First of all, it’s extremely quiet—so quiet that sometimes I even forget it’s running, which is great for bedrooms or workspaces. It’s very easy to operate, with simple controls that anyone can figure out in seconds. The design is also very sleek and modern, so it blends nicely with my home decor. Since I started using it, the air feels much drier and more comfortable, and I’ve noticed less musty smell in the room. This dehumidifier is great, easy to set up, basically just need to plug in. It’s much bigger than my old one, so I can use it for a long time without needing empty the water tank daily. Love the wheels design on the bottom, easy to move around, clean and modern design. Buttons and user interface are intuitive and functional. It also tells me the room humidity, I have better control of the environment. My basement room was too humid and created mould before, but after using this dehumidifier, now mould are all gone, room stays at perfect humidity, I don’t feel wet and disgusting at the basement any more :)

My new apartment is too humid for my pet rats (half of my apartment is floor to ceiling windows and it’s old) It usually reads well over 60% almost 70% and I was worried about mold spores. I had been using a smaller dehumidifier which could bring it to low 50s on a good day but usually mid to high 50s and sometimes it wouldn’t get under 61 depending on the weather. It was basically all over the place. So, I upgraded to this one because I just couldn’t get it low enough for more than 24 hours. This one does a seriously good job. It started lowering the humidity in what seemed like minutes and it’s surprisingly quiet. Quieter than my little Ninesky. It’s a much gentler hum. Today when I got home it was in the 30s which is too low for my rats but I was ecstatic that it was working so well. I was using the normal dehumidifying mode but there’s also a strong mode which I haven’t used yet. I just turned it off for a bit so the humidity would rise but there’s a pamphlet with a bunch of settings that I need to play with. I love it. Some notes: It has wheels to easily move around and the water tank is big and has a little red ball that lets you know the water level. It shuts off by itself when it’s too full. There’s also a tube if you’d rather drain into a floor drain or something other than the built in tank which is actually easy to remove and pour out.

I bought this unit and it worked fine. I bought another one because it worked great. The new one I bought barely puts out a drop of water si it is getting returned. Now this one quit removing water. If the comlany can tell me why this one quit and can get it running I will change my rating.
