Product came quickly and works as description entailed. We hooked a tube up so it can drain right into our sump pump. Beats dumping the holding tank every hrs or 2. It is doing a great job getting the moisture out of our basement. Our basement is usually dry, but our hot water heater went out and although we dried the carpet out as much as possible. I told my husband we needed a dehumidifier to get the res of the moisture out so our basement doesn't have the old people smell. It is pretty quiet too

We've used this dehumidifier now for 4 months and it has worked very well. It is reliable, quieter than other GE models we've used, and I like that it has its own discharge hose. It works well in our basement bathroom where the humidity is high. The design also allows for it to be placed up against a wall which saves a lot of space for us given the smaller room. Given how short of a lifespan our GE dehumidifiers have had, I would buy this again given its reasonable price even if it lasts only as long as they have. This also has all the features I'd expect a quality dehumidifier would have. I looked at other cheaper models but they lacked the features and didn't make it clear they didn't have them. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Very quiet and easy to use. does not take up much room. I like that their options have the fan offer on and set the humidity. Instruction manual was very informative and I have used it often. It seems to really pull the moisture out of the air and it works much better than my previous one which was very old. I would recommend it. I may eventually get a second one.

This is a great humidifier! It has made our house a lot less humid and cooler. Since we live in Florida, it is hard to keep cool all but one or two months of the year. It is easy to keep clean and only requires emptying once or twice a day. It covers ourr 2000 plus square foot house with ease. Use of this dehumidifer has reduced our electric bill significantly asa well.

The first one that was delivered by Amazon did turn on but did not reduce humidity at all. I suspect that the unit was damaged while in transport. The actual box for the humidifier labels top and bottom and specifies to transport upright, however, Amazon put the box in another box and there was no way of knowing top and bottom for anyone transporting it. The replacement unit arrived a few days later and is working like a charm, very powerful but quieter than another model we have on the other floor. Also very accurate in measuring humidity which comes in handy when running to achieve a certain level.

I live in Houston so it is pretty humid almost all year around. I purchased this dehumidifier to make it more comfortable in my living room and office, has wheels so I move it from room to room. It definitely makes the air feel more comfortable especially during the hottest part of the day. It is especially great that it has a water containment setup so I do not have to open a window or anything and have a hose drain the water it collects. Definitely pulls some moisture out of the air but will not overflow with the auto shutoff if the water containment reaches its max. I am actually able to set my thermostat a few degrees higher and feel comfortable, the AC functions in the same way drawing moisture out of the air but really uses way more energy increasing my electric bill and this dehumidifier can run all the time where as the AC cuts off once it reaches the temperature set on the thermostat. With the AC off the humidity creeps back up in the house until the AC comes back on. This unit is able to change the humidity of an entire room with its 4500 square foot capacity, this was my first dehumidifier but when looking to make a purchase that was top of the list of requirements large square foot capacity. The small units may work if you have them sitting right next to you but this one I can have on the other side of the room and definitely feel a difference. I hooked it up to a UPS to test run time if the power went out, it is miserable hear with no AC when the power goes out. That did not work out so great, tested a APC UPS 1500 model and going through the menu on that APC house with power it said zero esitmated run time and the dehumidifier was the only thing plugged in to it. Wanted to just test that in case I lost power to make it more comfortable in the house. That will probably be my next purchase, a more beefed up higher capacity UPS that would be capable to run this dehumidifier in the case of power loss. We have a very mild if a none winter season this year, I bought this unit about 6 months ago to help with that. It has not disappointed just wish there was a battery backup option with loss of electricity to home. I am going to work on that and get one that will run it for a few minutes. I have 4 APC UPS 1500 units in my home, 2 power my home office and the other 2 are in the living room and primary bedroom to back up the TVs. also the price was pretty affordable for the capacity of this to remove moisture from the air in my home, one of the reasons I purchased this unit after extensive research. main reasons for purchasing this unit was price, capacity, water collection reservoir and ease of use. I purchased this with my own money, and I do extensive research on things like this before hitting the go button, have purchased other items in the past and ended up disappointed with those purchases. Not so with this purchase! I would highly recommend to anyone who lives in an area where there is high humidity!

I bought this a few weeks ago because we had mold forming in a few areas of our basement due to humidity, and so far it’s been working great! I had no idea there was so much moisture in the air in our basement. This thing holds about 1.7 gallons I believe (which is much more than it sounds) and I’ve had to empty it everyday since it’s arrived. Emptying the tank isn’t hard, but I recommend you empty it before it’s completely full otherwise you might have a slight spill or two while packing it to dump the water. It comes with two drain hoses which are about 3 feet long each, I just don’t have a place to run them to drain the water so I use the tank. It’s fairly quiet, but sometimes it starts to make a rattling sound, but you can kinda press or pop it on the backside and it’ll stop fairly easily. It’s doesn’t take up much space and is very easy to move around. It looks very sleek, even the kids wanted to have one for their room! One thing worth noting is that it recommends you not to turn it on and leave it upright for 24 hours after unboxing. So you won’t get to use it as soon as it arrives. Other than that it’s a great product and would buy again.

Great humidifier. Very quiet, large capacity, with a user-friendly control panel. It's easy to set the desired humidity level etc. Personally, I wish it "unloaded" from the front, but it has worked quite well for our open floor-plan house. Love that the fan is able to run even when the bucket is full - an improvement over our last dehumidifier.
