It is silent. It displays the humidity level even when it is turned off. It collects a lot of water when the humidity is up. It does what it is supposed to do. It removes water from humid air reducing the humidity. it has a large storage container, so you don't have to empty it every day. it comes with a hose you can attach so that it stays drained if you're using it in basement or anyplace with a floor drain. It really collects water when the humidity goes above 50 %. when the humidity is up keeps the level down. It seems to prevent the humidity from going very much above 50%. Worth the money, if I needed another one, i would purchase it again. It seems to be very well constructed.

This dehumidifier has been a great addition to our basement. It covers the space really well (about 1000 sq. ft.) and pulls a surprising amount of moisture from the air. The humidity display is super helpful, and I like that it has a washable filter and drain hose for easy maintenance. It runs quietly, and the auto shut-off and timer features make it really user-friendly. The design is clean and modern, so it doesn’t look out of place at home. Doesn't really do a good job. Dehumidifying. Had it running for a week and didn't really pull anything out of the air where I have a second one that's made by a different manufacturer that was full of water.

As opposed to my larger and louder dehumidifier this one is much smaller and quieter. I got it to mount in the basement and run all the time draining into a floor drain since it would be quiet and in the background. It is definitely quiet but doesn’t create water as fast as my other one (granted it is 1:4 the size) It’ll be a good continuous option while I store the other one to use for moist times of the year. If this stops working I will update and let you know

So people who left reviews that it doesn't work don't realize it only turns on if the humidity is over 44%. My works great and I have it draining into the floor drain. The humidity in the basement was at 44% and upstairs it was at 45%. I have a 2000 squarefoot house. It's good to put it in your furnace. This humidifier is so quiet, you can barely hear it. It's small but mighty.
