The DEERC F35 RC plane has been a lot of fun to fly and is a great option for anyone looking to get into RC jets without jumping straight into a high-end hobby aircraft. The F-35 fighter jet design looks impressive in the air, and the camouflage finish gives it a realistic appearance that makes flying it even more enjoyable. The brush-less motor provides plenty of power for its size. The EDF fan setup gives it a nice jet-like feel, and the 4-channel controls allow for more precise flying compared to basic RC planes. The adjustable speed modes are helpful because you can start slower while getting comfortable and then increase the speed as your skills improve. It does need a larger area to fly in. The built-in 6-axis gyro stabilizer works well and helps keep the plane steady, especially during takeoff and when making adjustments in the air. It is forgiving enough for newer pilots while still offering enough control for more experienced RC enthusiasts. The ability to hand launch or use a short runway takeoff is also a nice feature depending on the flying area. The EPP foam construction is one of the best parts of this plane. It is lightweight but has held up well so far. Like any RC aircraft, it will eventually get some wear from landings and crashes, but the foam design helps absorb impacts and makes it much more durable than a rigid plastic or fragile foam model. The flight time has been good with the included batteries, and having two batteries means more time in the air before needing to recharge. The range has been more than enough for normal flying, and the low battery warning is a useful feature to help avoid losing the aircraft. There are a couple of things that could be improved. The plane is surprisingly loud at lower RPMs. It does sound more like a small electric jet at higher speeds, but the low-speed noise is something to be aware of. Also, it would have been nice if it included a more standard wall-style charger instead of requiring the included charging setup. A better charging option would make it more convenient for regular use. Overall, the DEERC F35 is a fun and durable RC jet that delivers a lot of excitement for the price. It looks great, flies well, and the combination of brush-less power, gyro stabilization, and tough foam construction makes it a great choice for both newer pilots and experienced RC flyers. Despite a few minor drawbacks, it has been reliable so far and has held up well through normal flying.

As someone who flies RC aircraft, I was impressed with how approachable this little F-35 is. The built-in 6-axis gyro does a great job keeping the plane stable, making takeoffs and general flying much less intimidating than many small EDF-style jets. The brushless motor provides plenty of power, and the lightweight EPP foam construction helps the plane handle the occasional rough landing without much worry. It tracks well in the air and has enough performance to keep experienced pilots entertained while still being forgiving enough for someone moving up from a basic trainer. Being an RTF (Ready-to-Fly) package means you can get in the air quickly with minimal setup. The 2.4GHz radio maintained a solid connection throughout my flights, and the controls felt responsive and predictable. From a value standpoint, this is an enjoyable RC aircraft that offers a nice balance of scale looks, performance, and beginner-friendly flight characteristics. Overall, this is a fun little F-35 that delivers stable flying, good power, and plenty of enjoyment for RC aviation enthusiasts looking to add an EDF-style fighter to their collection.

Style: F35 Lightning II
This is my third RC plane from DEERC and easily the most advanced. Unlike most planes, this is set up with the propeller inside the device to both look and operate just like a jet. Besides this type of setup, it still operates similar to most rc planes when it comes to basic operations. Areas where it does differentiate can be take off options and it's ability to turn off the 6-axis self leveling assistance, giving the operator full authority and control. While this makes it highly maneuverable, it also makes mistakes highly unforgiving. So it's best to avoid until you are more experienced. Everything you need to fly is included, plane, remote, two batteries, charging cable, numerous extra parts, minus the three AA batteries needed for the remote. My only reasoning for the lack of the 5th star is durability, I had to glue a major portion of the front back into place because the glue came undone. Overall, this is an excellent device, both functionality and visually, you will get people watching and possibility asking questions. It's priced affordability, easily transported, durability can be a little concerning, especially due the advanced operational settings that this allows. So as long as you fly within your skill level, this is wonderful.

It handled multiple crashes easily and has been very durable. Good battery life and power, it is still best with a hand launch. But it will take off from a roll

It's a good first RC plane if you're looking into getting one. I like how it uses thrust from the propeller inside like an actual jet turbine for propulsion. Comparing this to others that are quad copter style this definitely has a barrier to entry in how you control it. It's also really fast once airborne, so expect to crash multiple times. The foam construction and the rubber fuselage is also crash resistant keeping the shape of the plane together. When assembling, just like in the instructions, make sure to glue the fins and not rely on the double sided tape included because your first crash may rip it out of the plane and you'll be on a man hunt for you fins at the park. Overall it's a good, fun RC plane and everything works from the gyro to the ESC communication with the controller.
