This lamp was very easy to assemble and seems really sturdy. The finish isn’t perfect, there are many spots where it seems like the color isn’t even or the finish is scuffed. The lamp shade had a couple spots where it was bent, but I planned on replacing it with a black shade anyway. It’s also lighter in person (imo) than the picture online. It’s more of a muted gold or light bronze color. For the price it seems like a good lamp. Although you can’t see any of the imperfections unless you get up close and look, if you’re picky, this lamp probably isn’t for you. I love this lamp! For me it is ideal. It fits exactly as I expected between my sofa and chair. The size is proportionately just right, and I love the design. Light from this lamp reflects beautifully on my wall above and below the lamp shade. The weight is just right too…no wobbling and nothing flimsy or cheap looking about this lamp. The price was also perfect, right in the area I looked for. And it was so easy to assemble! It was packaged carefully to avoid any damage, especially to the lampshade. I do have to give the light switch an extra turn to turn it on, but that is no problem for me. The item descriptions said shade was white although the picture looked darker. It is actually a light tan color which is more what I was wanting, so am fine with that. The darker shade does make the overall light it gives off not as bright. Very nice looking lamp, deep bronze color, elegant. Lamp has a nice weight, the base is sturdy but the pole itself has a bit of wiggle, probably because of small connector followed by large ball near the base. Each ball needed extra tightening all the way up, some not able to be screwed in completely tight. Maybe that is how it should be. The shade is silk, and frayed along edges in places at the bottom and top so not great quality, but I can replace the shade someday. Overall, I'm very happy with the look. this floor lamp is really nice I have seen this elsewhere and it cost more. The lamp came to me in excellent condition well packed and easy to put together in less than 30 minutes. The only complaint is the white formed it's packed in gets everywhere so be prepared for that.

The good: The quality of the actual lamp itself—its heavyweight and substantial, and it doesn’t feel cheap. The gold color is considerable more muted than it appears on the screen, but that doesn’t bother me. I actually like it better than the picture. The bad: The lampshade was moderately damaged in shipment. There are a couple of puckers in it that are extremely obvious when light is shining through it (I shared a picture of one). Because my lamp is in a corner it doesn’t really matter to me—it’s not worth the hassle of arranging a replacement. Hopefully if I’d wanted to, I could do it easily enough. That’s the only reason I’m docking one star. It feels much more expensive than it actually is. Hard to beat the value for a floor lamp! ... show more
