This is a very good knife! Very sharp out of the box, strong and flexible blade, and comfortable in the hand. It is easy to use and has great value for the money. One word of caution! The manufacturer says its dishwasher safe. Don’t believe it! It has a wood handle! If you want to get long life from any wood handle, quality knife, never put it in a dishwasher! Wash and dry by hand. A light coat of food grade mineral oil on the blade and a coat of the same on the handle and then store it. You won’t be sorry.

it was pleasantly a little bigger than I expected. When it claimed to be razor sharp I expected another sharp knife but this thing is crazy sharp. The knife feels very comfortable in my hand and is very beautifully made. If I ever need another fillet knife this will be the one I would get again.

*** As an additional follow-up, the manufacturer made good on their promise and sent us a new knife which works perfectly. Thank you! ** As a follow-up to my initial review and issue with the knife we received, I can say that DDF iohEF contacted me very quickly to discuss the issue and seek resolution. We're not sure how the blade tip bent, but they've offered to send us a replacement which shows that they truly stand by their product and want to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. My wife has continued to use the knife as it is in fact an amazing cooking knife and we're looking forward to receiving the replacement. Initial review: My wife cooks every day and we've been using the same set of knives for years. I bought her this knife as she wanted to try something new and sharper. Unfortunately the tip of the blade bent after only a couple days of cooking. We discovered this when it nicked my wife's finger. The knife did not come this way. Otherwise the blade cuts fine, but I seriously wonder about the materials used.
