Surprised at the quality for the price.
I use this in my farm workshop in conjunction with my forge and welding work. I hate changing grinder blades/pads/whatever in the middle of a job, so I typically have one grinder for every type of wheel I use. That means one for coarse grinding, one for flap wheels, one for sanding pads, one for wire wheel, one for cutoff wheels, etc. Bottom line, this is one of probably 8 grinders that gets regular usage in my shop. I've used this on a number of welding and forge projects on everything from stainless steel, to high carbon tool steel, etc. For testing, I swapped out the wheels (ugh) and put it through it's paces. First of all, I love that this is a plug in model. I despise trying to keep up with the batteries on eight grinders, so the fact that this is corded and without a battery altogether means I have infinite life at my work station. The quality and durability surprised me. The head is small but very dense and feels like it is made with plenty of real metal instead of plastic internals. I didn't take it apart, but that's the impression I got. It has plenty of power, very comparable to the nicer 4.5" models I have. It works far better than the $15 one at the import store, but I'm really not a grinder snob - that super cheap one is okay for some things. This one is good for anything you'd expect a 4.5" grinder to do. It is very versatile, given it has a standard 5/8-11 shaft on it, you can use literally hundreds of different wheels, attachments, blades, cups, etc. This doesn't have variable speed, and it has a side switch so it is better for applications where you turn it on and leave it that way for a bit. I wouldn't want to "pulse" with it, and it probably spins too fast for very fine polishing or for polishing soft materials. For what I use it for, it's perfect.

Seems like it will be a good grinder.
I really like this grinder. I have used it to cut rebar and cinder blocks using a masonry blade. It is light weight and has plenty of power. You just as well throw away the instruction book as it is useless. Look up videos on youtube to see how to use and operate.

Powerful with Excellent Performance, Safety Features, and Great Value
I have been impressed with this 4-1/2 inch angle grinder. The 7.2 amp (860W) motor has plenty of power for cutting, grinding, and rust removal projects that I’ve used it on so far. With a no-load speed of 11,800 RPM, it cuts through steel, bolts, and metal stock quickly while maintaining smooth performance. It would have been nice if it had come with a case. The included accessories make this an excellent value. It comes with two cutting discs, two flap discs, two safety guards, and an auxiliary handle that provides a secure, comfortable grip for better control during longer jobs. I use the handle all the time just to maintain safe control of the grinder. Changing between grinding and cutting discs is straightforward, and the safety guards add peace of mind while working. The grinder feels well-balanced and easy to handle. It has a nice feel to it, heavy enough that you know it will last, but not so heavy that it is difficult to control or work with for long periods. It works well for DIY projects, sharpening tools, and general home improvement tasks. The corded design delivers consistent power without worrying about battery life, making it ideal for extended use. If you’re looking for a reliable corded electric angle grinder that combines strong performance, useful accessories, solid safety features, this is a great choice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a dependable cut-off tool for workshop use.

Excellent Grinder
I got this angle grinder because I wanted to easily be able to cut through metal beams used in our after school robotics clubs without having to deal with more industrial set ups. This angle grinder was able to cut through all of the steel pieces we needed to cut down with relative ease and no slow downs. I appreciated that the blades/plates were easy to switch out as needed while still maintaining a secure and safe connection. I also wanted to be able to use it remove the rust on our older pieces that have been sitting in storage for a bit. This angle grinder made quick work of remove the rust and making everything look fresh and new again. Overall, this angle grinder performed well, included all the necessary accessories to get simple jobs done and felt like a high quality product. I would consider it an excellent value for my money and would purchase this brand again.

Great corded grinder for the money
This is a really nice corded grinder set. It comes with two grinding wheels and two cutting wheels, plus a nice auxiliary handle that gives you extra stability and control while you’re working. It’s a good size with plenty of power. The body is slim, and while it’s not excessively heavy, it still feels substantial and well made in your hands. Cordless tools are great because you’re not tethered to an outlet, but there’s something to be said for a corded tool—you never have to stop working because the battery died! My husband uses a grinder fairly regularly because there always seems to be something that needs repairing around the farm, so having one that’s ready to go is handy. He’s very happy with this DCA grinder. It works well, has a good amount of power, and the included wheels and auxiliary handle are nice extras. Overall, this is a great-value grinder set and a useful addition to the toolbox.
