Let's just say that my friend went through a rough divorce and she is learning how to live her life without being married. Needless to say, one of the things that she is realizing is that she has zero tools at her disposal AND she has been borrowing my hubby's tools which is fine but she will need to invest in her own personal tools. So when this popped up, I was like OMG! This is perfect as I know that she has needed some help assembling furniture and what not to set up her place. This one actually comes with a larger battery than my hubby's which is a really nice touch! And she got some furniture off of Amazon as well and when I was there helping her build it, this thing came in sooooo handy! There was one, where no matter how hard I tried and she tried, we could not screw in the screw! OMG so frustrating! BUT thankfully I had just brought her this as a housewarming gift and we used it to screw the screw in and it went in like butter. She and I sat there and laughed out butts off on how easy it was with this vs trying to screw it in by ourselves with a screwdriver. This one also comes with that flexible drill thing which makes screwing things in weird positions so much easier. My hubby was a little jealous of that attachment as he doesn't have one. LOL Overall, a GREAT kit for a person just starting out especially at this price.

I wasn't expecting too much from this off-brand drill driver, but it has been a pleasant surprise so far. The driver comes with a 20v rechargeable battery, a charger, a two-sided long screwdriver bit (flat and phillips), a magnetic bit holder, various screwdriver bits, a flexible extension, an on-board 2 bit holder, and a small set of drills (actually a lot of accessories for an off-brand power tool). I charged the battery immediately and put the drill driver through its paces on a couple of projects I had going. The driver performed admirably without any issues. It seemed to have plenty of power, and worked fine on different settings in both high and low transmission and in both drilling and driving. One thing I did notice is that you can see the sparks that the motor produces through the ventilation holes in the back of the driver when in use. This is not the case with my other two name brand drivers. Just need to be conscious of any flammable fumes/ liquids when using this item. The battery has a charge meter on the front so that you can tell the level of charge in the battery with the touch of a button (a nice addition that my name brands do not have). I did not assess the screwdriver bits or the drills that came with the item because I used some that I already had when I was working with this drill driver. However, the bits look fine and the drills appeared to be very sharp from a manual and visual inspection. The one thing about the driver that I did not like was the bit holder. It is a plastic two-bit holder that mounts to the side of the driver housing with a small screw. It does not hold the bits very tightly, and they tend to move around in the holder under work conditions. I can see where it would be easy to lose a bit if you trusted this holder to securely hold your bits. The long two sided bit and the bit holder worked great. The bit holder has a very strong magnet, and bits and drill shanks fit into it tightly. Overall, this is a nice drill driver and is not a bad deal for the asking price.

It seems like such a simple drill, and it is really, but also has so many features that I don't know how I've been surviving as a homeowner with the drill that I have had this entire time. Plus, this came with a ton of attachments and extra tools/parts that make any job so much easier to complete. Definitely worth it to purchase!

I am pleased with this drill when compared to my Dewalt. And I really like the angling tool for those difficult to access projects. The attachments and tool adjustments work as described. Also, the battery seems of good quality plus it didn't get hot when charging (safety is important). Overall, great option for home improvement repairs and projects.
