Very good, meets claims, appears same as EcoWorthy model

Pros: • Meets product claims • Appears identical to EcoWorthy 12.8V 100 Ah • Includes 2 M8 contact bolts and wrench Cons: • Shipping box had hazardous material notice cut from box Overall, this seems like another very nice battery from DC House/EcoWorthy. It appears to be an identical battery to the EcoWorthy equivalent model, but sold at a lower price at the time I purchased it. It was identified in the EcoWorthy app and easily paired in the app just like another EcoWorthy battery. I keep referring to both DCHouse and EcoWorthy because they are related, if not the same company. This battery seems identical to the same EcoWorthy model. The DC House 12.8V 100Ah with LED display and USB ports was unique to DC House however, and only worked with the DC House app. I have now purchased a total of 5 12V.8V 100 Ah batteries. The first 2 were from EcoWorthy. EcoWorthy had a very good reputation, and these batteries seem to live up to that reputation. I bought them primarily for backup power in the event of a hurricane. I can charge them before a storm, and then recharge them as needed with either chargers and a generator, or with the several solar panels and charge controllers I’ve purchased. Fortunately, I haven’t needed them. These LiFePO4 (LFP) batteries are replacing the several large marine deep cycle flooded lead acid batteries I had for this purpose as they reach end of life. I first purchased 2 EcoWorthy 12.8V 100 Ah batteries. When another of the lead acid batteries reached end of life, I wanted another pair of the EcoWorthy so that I could safely put them in series or parallel configurations. After reading various reviews saying DC House is the same, I ended up buy a pair the basic 12.8V 100 Ah DC House batteries, this battery. As far as I can tell, the basic DC House 12.8V 100Ah is exactly the same as the EcoWorthy. Other than the color of the label, they appear the same. The manual even has EcoWorthy on it. I used the same EcoWorthy app that I had set up for the first 2 batteries, and it found the 2 DC House batteries. From what I can tell, the various reviews that say they are the same are correct. All of these batteries arrived with about 30 to 40 percent state of charge, and seem to work perfectly. The 5th battery I purchased was the DC House 12.8V 100 Ahr battery with status LEDs, and USB ports. That battery is also good, but doesn’t seem the same quality. It arrived completely dead and in UVP protection mode. It did not work in the EcoWorthy app and needed the DC House version. Noticeably, the shipping warning label printed on the box for a Li battery was cut off the box. This was clearly intentional, and was done precisely in the rotated square shape of the warning label. At least with essentially no charge the safety issue was limited. It was same exact box as the EcoWorthy batteries arrived in, but those had the warning label still showing on the box. In summary, I like this battery so far. It appears to be the exact same high quality and capacity as the EcoWorthy batteries. Other similar capacity models from DC House are unique to DC House, and don’t seem to be quite the same level of quality.

Good Battery

Installed in my bass boat (3 of them). Saved space over lead acid battery, and are lighter. I had to get a different 3 bank battery charger. I have used these batteries for 1 year now and they are always plugged into the charger when not being used. They hold a charge and run the trolling motor with no problem.

Used this battery for the first time today with a Minn Kota 55lb thrust motor. Ran motor at 75 to 100% speed for almost 3 hours with my Ascend DC14, 2 people on board plus gear. Not only did it do over 5 knots consistently, used only 40% of total capacity. The build quality of the case is superb. The Bluetooth app is great and provides great info. Despite the long run, battery temp stayed cool.Buy this battery!

DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY

Trash battery does not work after a few uses. Would bot buy at all. The kingboss temu lithium ion works better than this battery. * for clarity i am charging this battery with a noco 10a charger that supports lithium ion charging. When i try to force charge the battery does pick up at all. Ill provide good photos and video on this but DO NOT BUY… you will waist your money!!!!!! Someone called me in the middle of the vid so video ended but yea dont waist your money.

Works great on 55lb thrust trolling motor

Incredible battery for small boats or kayak. I use this with a 55lb thrust trolling motor. I have gone out for 6 hours of fishing and it never dropped below 89%. Would definitely buy again just for the fact it weighs so much less than a standard battery.

I was hesitant but this thing rocks!

Was very hesitant to buy an expensive lithium battery. But now that i did, wish i would have done it years ago. Camped all week in a 23 foot travel trailer with a solar panel and this battery. Never fell below 70 percent capacity. My lead acid used to run out on the overnight. Love it!

Good Performance So Far, But Customer Service Concerns

I received the batteries in a timely manner, and so far they are functioning as expected. The Bluetooth feature is a nice addition and works well. They’ve been powering my trolling motor effectively and have delivered solid performance during my first few outings. I’ve only had these for a short time, but I previously owned another DC House battery for about six months to run my electronics, and it performed reliably during that time (I eventually sold the boat with it). My only concern is with customer service. I had an issue with a different DC House battery that did not meet its advertised charge capacity, and I was unable to get the problem resolved through their support team. That experience was disappointing. That said, this set of batteries is currently performing as expected, and I’m satisfied with their performance so far.
