This is the first safe I have owned. Overall, this is a great safe, great size, and great value for the price. The general set-up was fairly easy, including adding finger prints. The instructions for the floor anchors were sparse and a little confusing but some of the confusion may be due to the fact that I have never used that type of anchor before. Having a key with you is necessary for additional access to the small, plastic storage box within the safe. Another nice added feature included in the purchase is a fire/water proof zippered pouch/money bag and a back-up power supply (battery powered). ... show more

I bought this safe for my mom to keep valuables and important documents. It is light enough to move around easily, but also feels sturdy enough to deter tampering or break-ins. It also has internal mounting holes to bolt it down. Set up was easy, and the fingerprint ID works great - the memory holds multiple fingerprints, so you can scan more than 1 finger (do this in case you get a cut or burn that changes your fingerprint!) and even another person as an alternate user. ** Biometric Fingerprint... Well, It does have an LED with a sensor that knows when a finger is in front of it. I reset, push red button, push white button, took out batteries, put batteries back in, repeat and gave it twenty different fingers thirty times in a row. That thing has no idea what's in front of it, therefore forever opens if the cat paws it. That is actually all irrelevant.. you can simply take the batteries out and you have a locking safe.. ..I just hope no-one ever wants in it, it'd peel like a soup can. (I'm not attacking producer/provider.. get what you pay for) ... show more
