    • Very good once you know how to connect them
I started this review a while back, so it has all my frustrations in it from before. Something not in the instructions is how to get both earbuds to connect and play simutaneously. Push the center button 3 times on each earbud and they connect to each other. This was my main frustration with the product. Now that I can get them both the connect, I am now very happy with them. I can work around loud equipment and still enjoy whatever I want to listen to while working. The ear protection of the foam and silicon earplugs is also very good, the same as a regular foam earplug. Phone calls are clear on both ends. I'm not sure if they block noise noise to the other end of the call. My previous review: The bluetooth pairing has become problem. The ear buds either wont connect, or one or the other connects, not both, or sometimes both connect, but are not in sync, one is on delay. These are marketed as OSHA hearing protection. Sure, they're good earplugs, but I didn't buy them just to be earplugs. I need to be working, not fiddling around with my earplugs that wont connect properly. Returned These ear buds sound alright. They stay in my ears fine. I had difficulty getting them to pair and getting both buds to play say the same time. The Bluetooth connection seems to be good if my phone is on a table. Bluetooth connection gets spotty when phone is in my pocket. I am using a smaller phone that I can put up in my hard hat to use them at work on construction sites. They seem to work well when the connection isn't spotty, but being unable to keep my regular phone in my pocket is a deal breaker. Edit. further research indicates that water will block a bluetooth signal. This explains why I've had the same problem with every other bluetooth device. Your body is mostly water! put your phone under your armpit, you'll see what I mean. The earplugs will protect your hearing whether theyre connected or not. The battery life is long. Lasts all day. Audio pass through would an improvement, like shooting ear muffs. I'm upgrading this review to 4* from 3*. for what I use them for- hearing protection on construction job, they work well. I had corded wireless earplugs and always had to take one out when I had to talk to someone. Have to do the same with these, or just wear one of the pair. ... show more

    • Flash light doesn’t work.
So far so good phone dies way before the headphones. Lots of different ear pieces and swappable parts for different fits. Stays in ear. Good sound. Quick and easy pairing. Flash light does not work. I didn’t buy it for that feature, so not to big of a deal for me.

    • Overall absolutely worth it
Initial impression was actually pretty terrible, because the ear plugs that they ship with were nowhere near my size and neither were the large version, and with those installed the sound quality was about as good as two Coke cans held up to my ears....no bass and terrible tone. I switched to the largest foam plugs and once I got them properly into my ears that's when the sound started coming through. You can't put these in your ears like other earbuds, you have to put them on like safety ear plugs (especially if you use the foam tips). With the foams I roll them in my fingers to compress them, then with my other hand reach around my head and pull my ear up/back which opens your ear canals and then you can get them inside your ear as far as they need to go. This is how you achieve what is probably the best bass I've ever heard from earbuds without sacrificing any of the mids or highs. This is what really sets these apart from other earbuds, they seal to your ear and just like a sealed speaker box that helps to create awesome bass, so good I actually turned it down a bit from my normal preset. The cons....well the case is a brick, but if it means more battery life then I'm ok with it (time will tell). Pairing worked perfectly the first time and then after trying them out on my PC and going back to my phone that's when I started getting sound from only one side. Another review recommended pressing both buttons 3 times at the same time and indeed that does pair them, but be patient because it does take a few moments. They're more finicky to pair than iPods but I haven't had any issues once they're both paired. Switching between devices definitely causes hiccups so if that's something you do often these may be annoying. I think these would be awesome for any loud environment, not just work. I can see myself mowing the lawn with them in and the best part is you don't have to blast them on high volume to hear your music over the noise...that's the best thing about these buds, basically they take noise cancelling to a whole other level (once you get the right tips for your ears and you get them in properly). Lastly I don't think it's even possible for these to fall out, you could probably get tackled by a professional NFL lineman and they'd stay in your ears. With the foam tips I have to deliberately pull them out (if you've wore foam earplugs you know what I mean). Anyway if at first they seem to not work out, try out different tips, make sure they're in, try to get over the pairing hiccups and then I definitely think they have advantages over other options even 3x this price. ... show more

    • It disconnects itself from left to right when is on pause.
I like the quality of the sound and it fits well, but I don’t like the fact it disconnects one ear from time to time and it doesn’t reconnect itself, and I have to put both ear buds back in the charger and then it reconnects again, it’s annoying.

I've had these for a couple days now and I have absolutely loved them! The choice in tips is very nice, with do many choices I can't hardly imagine anyone not being able to find a perfect fit. Around the house and anywhere I've been with them I have heard nothing but what I was listening to through them. I haven't been able to test them at work yet, but with what I can tell so far I'm certain they will work just as i had imagined. I work in a feed mill, and it's VERY loud, but I feel that these will work as good as anything at blocking the nose, only these block the nose AND pump perfectly sounding music into my ears. I've had galaxy buds (first generation) and will say with confidence that these sound better and are louder. The case and battery are better than the Galaxy buds were too. The bass is clear, mids and treble crisp. I'm sure the are better sounding buds, but for the price you can't beat them! After researching option after option (including bone conduction and everything else i could find) I'm absolutely happy I chose these.
