    • Such a fun, relaxing planetarium projector
This is so cool. After seeing it in action, my youngest had to have one. I’ve really only used the moon and stars option as I love looking up into the night sky and this very beautifully replicates that experience. The projection is bright and very crisp, offering an insane amount of detail. The projection controls are fairly rudimentary and easy to understand. Though I’m an adult, I’m fascinated with it. I can only image how a child would react with one of these in their room. I’d’ve loved this as a kid. There’s several other slides included but I can comment on those as I can’t get enough of the lunar slide. I can only assume they’re equally as engaging and offer a wide range of quality options for any taste. The unit is solidly built and sits on sturdy legs that allow you to adjust the location of the projection. There’s also a lens adjustment for focusing the projection. I removed one star because inexplicably no power cord is provided so you have to buy your own. ... show more

received this item and it was well packed. right out of the box, it was easy to set up by first plugging it in with supplied USB-C cord, then inserting the disc and rotating the head to clear up the image to your desire. The item does have cool features such as the picture rotating to a timing mechanism to auto shut off. great item and highly recommended ... show more

    • Nice upgrade
I have a prior generation of this projector. It worked alright, but I was not entirely happy with it. This current version is significantly better. The images are better quality and the colors have more "pop". There are a 13 film discs, mostly celestial objects, and one Santa Claus. Granted, it's nowhere near as sharp and detailed as depicted in the listing images, but it's plenty good enough for the intended audience. There is a meteor effect, which is honestly a bit lame because there are few meteors and always in the same place. Not as prolific as what is shown in the "Realistic Planetarium Sky" listing image. There are controls provided to slowly animate the current image, and for a timer feature if you want your little one to fall asleep while watching. To be effective, the room really needs to be completely dark, as any amount of light will ruin the effect. The image will project up to about 9 feet, and the lens can be rotated to bring it into focus. ... show more
