I have purchased a few different double hot plates to use and have been disappointed after briefly using them from the elements going out or the knobs melting. Two 900W burners and 3 foot 3 prong grounded 120 volt cord. The yellow lights on the front, cycle on and off at temperature and the red light under the burner glows when it is turned on. I am so bad, I used the Hob to melt bees wax to spread on the new bee frames. The Hob kept temperature to melt bees wax but not burn it. It cleaned up nicely. I am still going to be in touble when she smells burnt wax while making burgers in the fry pan. My friend asked "why can't it have a bigger burner? " Most houses are wired for 15 amps at 120v. That is why 2 900W burners. This is going in the RV so I don't have to get LP gas as often. The only way to make it better is to add a padded bag with handles to store it in the RV like my little outside grill. ... show more

I like my little burner. It looks good it is super easy to clean it has glass tops on the burners so they wipe off really easily. It heats up fast but it also cools down fast unlike most electric stovetops. Not as fast as gas but a lot faster than old-school electric burners that you turn down and 3 minutes later the pot finally stops boiling over. This turns down pretty fast giving you better control. For the money, it is well worth it. Great for camping or even for keeping a little heat on a pot at a family gathering potluck or church dinner. I will never buy an electric burner with the old metal coils again. I love this product and it is one of the better of things I have tested on the Vine program.
