My son bought this himself but I will say it’s a lot of trail and error and it’s a bit difficult to lean how to make it “just right” It’s about as big as our blender so make sure you have a spare for it first . My son can also clean it out pretty .!

I was looking at a smaller lower cost option to the compressor slush machines. this seemed like a good option. the slush did get thick, but too thick and would not dispense and then the motor started to make noises- probably because of the slush being thick and not dispensing. Tried again with a more sugary beverage and the same results. Unfortunately it did not meet expectatons so I returned the unit

I honestly didn’t expect to love this little slushy machine as much as I do, but it has become one of those things I end up using way more than I thought I would. It’s surprisingly compact, which I appreciated right away because I’m not trying to give up half my counter space for a gadget I only use occasionally. This one fits perfectly without feeling flimsy or cheap. The setup is ridiculously simple—like, genuinely “pour in ice and salt and press a button” simple. I didn’t have to dig through a giant instruction booklet or figure out a bunch of weird attachments. It’s literally one‑touch operation, and it starts doing its thing immediately. Within a few minutes, you can actually see the slush forming, which is weirdly satisfying. One of the biggest perks for me is how clean it is to use. I’ve had other machines in the past that dripped everywhere or made a sticky mess the second you tried to dispense anything. This one doesn’t do that at all. The drip‑free dispenser is exactly what it sounds like, no puddles, no sticky counter, etc. It just works smoothly. The texture of the slushies comes out really nice too. I LOVE this slushy machine. It was easy to use, made a yummy slushy in less than 20 minutes, and cleanup was a breeze. My first try was a cola slushy and it turned out perfecto! What I really like is that it isn't overly complicated. Yes, there are a number of instructions but once you read through them, you realize it's not that much work. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! While it does make some noise, it's not super loud and is definitely quieter than other kitchen appliances I have. I live in balmy South Texas, and even with our heat and humidity, this had no trouble doing what it was supposed to do. That honestly impressed me because I wondered if our weather would slow things down or make it less effective, but it worked just fine. This is just a really fun kitchen gadget. It will be getting a work out this summer for hot sultry days, game nights, and more. After the cola slushy, I am really looking forward to trying all sorts of other yummy slushies, frozen drinks, and probably a few things I do not technically need but definitely want. Overall, this is easy to use, easy to clean, and actually works. The price might be a smidgen high, but I'm ok with it. Cheaper than buying summer slushies at the store.

SO I was looking for a slushie maker that I could put in the ingredients and it would chill the liquid and make a slushie. This is not that. If you ever used the old style homemade ice cream makers, this is exactly that. You put ice int he middle with salt ad then your ingredients in the outside and the ice helps freeze the liquid to make the slushie. It works ok, but is hard to get exactly right and frankly just too much work. The price is right and it looks nice on the counter, but it just is not what I expected and too much work for me to ever use consistently.

I ordered this counter-top slushy machine as a fun treat for summer days for my kids. We tried it for the first time today after a day of yard projects and I have (mostly) positive feelings so far. To begin with, this is very easy to use. It arrives almost completely assembled and there's really nothing to figure out. There are thorough instructions and all of the parts are clearly designed and labeled. You do need to plan ahead by a few hours to chill your syrup mix, the ice canister, and to be sure you have plenty of ice and salt on-hand. The size is practical for counter-top use. It takes up about the same amount of space a standard coffee maker does but is taller and may not slide underneath your top cabinets well so storing it on the counter may not work. The entire top portion comes off and can be disassembled and washed by hand- not dishwasher safe. As for the slushies this machine makes, we tried a simple strawberry slushy tonight. The machine recommends 15 to 25 minutes of mixing and advises to not exceed 4p minutes. After 15 mins our misture was ALMOST ready but I figured what's the harm in having a thicker slushy and set a timer for another 10 mins. Unfortunately, by 25 mins the mixture had actually started to get more liquidy again so I'm not sure if we just missed the prime texture moment or if it never got quite as thick as I'd hoped it would. That said, my kids were very happy with the slushies this made and were pretty delighted to have them at home. I will note that the max capacity only fills each of the 4 included cups maybe halfway with one batch. Between batches you have to let the machine cool so it's a lengthy process to actually make enough to fill all 4 cups...and by the time the last cups are full, the first ones will be melted. So there's that. Overall, I'm excited to try some of the included recipes and make some fun slushy flavors at home and have them on random hot summer days. If you live in a rural area where you can't get a cheap slushy at the corner gas station, this is a fun item to have for summer heat! Additionally, if you’re interested in making flavors, or using ingredients that aren't readily available most places, the same is true!
