I have a larger and much more expensive toaster oven that is large enough to fit a whole pizza in. When I only wanna toast up a sandwich or a small serving of nachos or a single slice of pizza or something else small I feel like it’s overkill. This little toaster oven works great for those uses and it’s so inexpensive that I didn’t feel bad buying it. It does get very hot on the outside, so be careful where you place it. There are no temperature controls. It gradually gets up to 400°F and stays there. If you don’t want to be stuck only toasting things on the included grate and tray you can find very small metal pans online that fit in it. If you were looking to primarily toast things like slices of bread, muffins, and bagels than I would get a traditional toaster which does a better job at those tasks than this does. I think the best use of this toaster oven is really as a niche product for heating up very small amounts of food or possibly for fitting into a very small space like an RV. I have to warn you again that it does get very hot on the outside when using it, so be careful where you place it and what’s around it. It would occur to me, if I were designing something like this, I would consider the size a pita bread, not just a slice of bread or a bagel. Maybe the next design round, Dash? Other than it being too small for a pita bread, I really like this itty bitty toaster oven. My pita toast came out great anyway. I do recommend this product. It is TINY, so take that into consideration when contemplating a purchase. Also, there is no adjustable temperature, it is 400° and that is it..fits my needs. 👍🏻 ... show more

I bought this to keep in our break room at work. The size is perfect since there want much extra room to place it. It toasts things quickly and very well. The price was amazing and I honestly wasn’t expecting such a high quality piece for what I paid. I’ll definitely buy accessories by Dash again.

This is my 2nd one of these. Had the first one for at least a year but didn’t seem to be toasting as well. So inexpensive I just got a new one. It does the job which for me is just toast. It does smoke a bit but so dang cute I let that slide.

I wanted to replace my bulky old toaster oven, since my Foodi now performs most of the functions and it's a pain wrestling it in and out of the cupboard. I just need an appliance to toast Italian bread for crustinis and the like (they're too small for the toaster and the Foodi doesn't toast well). This little guy can do that job well, but I can only fit 4 pieces in at a time. One normal-size half of a bagel just barely squeezes in. The "temperature control" rating isn't really fair, since you can't control the temp at all. It burns at 400 degrees at all times. You adjust cook time accordingly. The device toasts evenly and I was surprised at how quickly. It isn't super easy to get underneath the heat source to clean the bottom. If you hunt for it, you'll find the crumb catcher on the bottom. It opens with a latch. Make sure you take out the tray first because you have to turn the unit totally upside down to do it. As long as you keep you expectations in line with its capacities, I think you'll be pleased with this toaster. ... show more
