A little tricky to install when connecting the base to the bracket. I wanted to line the 2 pieces of the bracket together (180*) so the light would be aligned with the door, but it wouldn’t work like that so settled for 45* instead of 180*. Installed some z-wave bulbs and they look good. Have some LIFX night vision bulbs on the way to add ir for porch camera. Will see how that works with the globe. ... show more

    • Very tricky to install cage & glass bowl to the rod

Like the look and the price, but attaching the cage & glass bowl was difficult because the rod is too short. In the end my husband had to push really hard on the cage so the rod would poke through the hole just the slightest bit and he was able to attach the "button". He thinks it's solidly attached, but I am concerned that the cage & bowl will come falling down on someone's head. Considered not installing the glass bowl but that made no difference to ability to attach the cage to the rod. Time will tell if it holds up. ... show more
