I wear this style of boot all year round on our small farm in Kansas. I also typically wear them around town too, but the full boot version is heavy and not conducive to walking long distances. I saw these recently on an Internet add and thought this would be a great everyday boot with some all day comfort...so far I've been right. Like any new boot there is some break in time required, but after this initial break in period I've been very pleased with the quality and performance of these boots. They are a good looking boot and are much easier to put on and take off than the equivalent full-length boot. They seem to fit true to size which is an issue with some new boots. They shine up real nice and so far, seem to be reasonably scuff resistant when I'm kneeling down with the toes on the ground. I think though that ultimately what drew me to these boots is the fact that they are made in the U.S.A., this is a rare thing these days. I've had them for about a month now and I'm confident that I'll get many years of wear out of them. I definitely recommend these boots for the reasons stated. ... show more

Very comfortable. Easy on and off, true to size (10.5) and feels broken in. I imagine these will only get better with age. They're also the first slip ons I've tried that fit well on the heel. Can't speak to durability yet, but I imagine for generally use they will be adequate.

The fit is fantastic, like a second skin. Applied some good leather treatment but they are ready to wear right out of the box. They are LEATHER, so of course they are not waterproof right out of the box if that's your thing...they wear and feel fantastic, totally worth the price as they should be: Made in U.S.A.! ... show more

4 stars only because it’s a $230 boot that doesn’t have a comfortable sole like the $175 slip on Georgia's I bought which are also waterproof. But you can easily replace the soles. Also just waterproof it with Mink oil combined with water proofing spray. Toe is tuffer on these and more support on the ankle. ... show more

I can’t get these boots to stop squeaking on the office floors. They don’t squeak at all on the manufacturing floor. I’ve wearing them everyday for two months.

True to size, better looking than blundstones, definitely took about a week to break in, got a minor blister on my heel in the process. The padding in the sole is minimal and you may want to size up so you can slip in some insoles. I work in concrete so i have ruined them already, but if you keep them clean they're very classy. Really easy to slip on, can just about do it hands free. These are my new go-to boots for sure. ... show more
