abunda_amazon_reviews Before traveling to Iceland I needed to get a camera bag that could withstand the extreme conditions that is indicative of the weather there. I had narrowed it down to this bag and the Lowepro Slingshot 202. I went with this bag and was extremely happy with my decision, I took this thing in glaciers, ice caves, volcano caves, boats, hiking, and just general city commuting in all sort of weather and it was comfortable, convenient, and protected all my camera gear. I am more of a camera hobbyist, right now I shoot with a Canon Rebel series camera and that is probably the target demographic for this bag. If you are intent on carrying 4 or more lenses and rapidly switching them out, I would look elsewhere. In the main compartment I could comfortably fit three of my lenses: a telephoto lens, fixed wide angle lense, and a kit wide angle zoom lens, as well as the power adapter all in the main compartment. Instead of storing the power adapter in that compartment you could probably swap it out for your external camera flash. There is also a small pouch area to store extra sd cards. The second largest compartment is a good size. I used this bag as my carry on luggage with a tripod attached, and in addition to the lens cleaning kit I store in this compartment I was also able to comfortable keep my sunglasses, keys, headphones, extra batteries, and portable phone charging station. The smallest compartment is right in the center of the bag. This zippered pocket is super deep so I was able to keep a micro fiber towel and various important documents in there. It also has a convenient clip to store your keys on as well as as some small sewn in pockets to store things like pens, or small flashlights. I love how quickly and secure I can attach a tripod to the bag and even with that added weight the bag was still comfortable and didn't have any pressure points. The cross body strap system takes some getting use to, but it does come in handy as a stabilization tool when taking pics. You can just slide this bag across your body and the access pocket for the camera is right in front of you. After you get your camera you can put your elbows on the bag for stability. I was able to take clean crisp pictures with long shutter times using this technique. I have shoulder problems so lifting the bag above my head to position the diagonal strap properly was a bit of a problem, what I really like about this bag is I was able to unhook the main strap put the back pack on my back and snap it back into place. I also love how sleek it looks, other camera bags if they aren't full of stuff tend to sag in some areas and pinch, this one always looks sleek which is a blessing when trying to make your way through congested areas. Also love that it has a waterproof protection cover that hides away in a pocket at the base of the bag. It is permanently attached to the bag as well, which is awesome as I've lost a countless number of those covers.;;Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2016;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great bag for the amatuer photographer;;Dexter's Laboratory;;;I got this as a lightweight walk-around / "throw in the car" bag when on the move. Sometimes you never know what photo op will present itself. I have several other bags including a Case-Logic backpack, a Thinktank Retro 50 and a larger Lowepro 450AW backpack. This fits in nicely with that group. I have it set up now for the main camera compartment to hold my Nikon D750 with a Nikon 28-300 w/o battery grip, and a Sigma 105mm macro. In the upper compartment I have a YN568ex flash and a Nikon 20mm 1.8 and a 50mm 1.4. In the smaller pouches I have some rechargeable AA batteries and extra camera battery, lens cloth, blower. In the front zip compartment I have a YN trigger and receiver and large Flashbender as well as a Syrp varialbe ND and a Hoya circular polarizing filter. Sometimes I'll strap the Gorillapod Focus / Ballhead X in the tripod mount. I'm AMAZED this will hold all of that gear in such a tiny package, and it still seems very light and portable. I feel I can take this little pack almost anywhere and be prepared for some amazing shots. The build is very good. the layout is well thought out for the most part. I wish there were a few more options to layout the camera portion of the bag with the dividers but it's easily doable. I also wish they'd have put a web pouch on both sides of the outer part of the bag. I also wish the upper part of the bag could open completely and fold back over if wanted. That would make it easier to get things out of the bottom of that section rather than having to take everything out to get to the bottom of it. I know a big draw of this bag is the size and compactness (which I also love), however I do wish I could have the option of putting the camera with a 70-200 in it if wanted. I know it would make the bag slightly wider, but it wouldn't take much to make it work. Don't let those minor negatives detract from the fact this is an awesome and super useful bag! I highly recommend it. Messenger/Shoulder bags have their place and backpacks have theirs, but this little bag is a great compromise between both. I love it!;;Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2016;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;This fits in nicely with that group;;jspann23;;;This is a very well-designed, pro-level bag that's worth every penny. Just got back from a two-plus-week European excursion and used this bag as my flight carry-on and day-pack throughout the trip. Perfect fit for my DSLR with its 18-55mm zoom, 75-300mm zoom lens, 55mm std. lens, dual battery charger, and extra batteries. Liked the handy pockets for extra SIM chips, but wish one of them was big enough to put a battery in for quicker, easier access. The front-most pocket, which runs almost the full length of the bag, has a surprising amount of room and pockets for pens, and other small essentials, as well as a lanyard for keys or penlight. I was able to put a packable rain coat in here with just a little effort. The larger bag opening, while short, has plenty of room for noise-cancelling headphones, a decent-sized padded tablet pocket, and a zippered pouch for documents. There's a nice elastic and mesh side-pocket big enough for a 16 oz. water bottle. While all of that thoughtfully-designed storage is great, it functioned even better. The zippers and closures are sturdy, the padding is good, and it's very comfortable to wear across your shoulder on your back or to move to the front when accessing the camera, sitting down, or in crowds where the possibility of a snatch-and-grab might exist. Camera access is easy and relatively quick: just slide the bag to your chest, open the side flap, pull out the camera, and start shooting. It is permanently attached to the bag as well, which is awesome as I've lost a countless number of those covers.

This fits in nicely with that group
I got this as a lightweight walk-around / "throw in the car" bag when on the move. I love it!

Terrifically well-designed professional-level carry-on camera bag.
This is a very well-designed, pro-level bag that's worth every penny. Kudos to Lowepro!
