I wear this style of boot all year round on our small farm in Kansas. I also typically wear them around town too, but the full boot version is heavy and not conducive to walking long distances. I saw these recently on an Internet add and thought this would be a great everyday boot with some all day comfort...so far I've been right. Like any new boot there is some break in time required, but after this initial break in period I've been very pleased with the quality and performance of these boots. They are a good looking boot and are much easier to put on and take off than the equivalent full-length boot. They seem to fit true to size which is an issue with some new boots. They shine up real nice and so far, seem to be reasonably scuff resistant when I'm kneeling down with the toes on the ground. I think though that ultimately what drew me to these boots is the fact that they are made in the U.S.A., this is a rare thing these days. I've had them for about a month now and I'm confident that I'll get many years of wear out of them. I definitely recommend these boots for the reasons stated.

Been wearing dancers for years…they stopped making the lookout boot, so i have been looking for an equivalent. Here’s the skinny.. boot is well belt…comfortable, but not “super” comfortable. I have flat sweaty feet. They work ok, but get yourself a good insole.

I'll start off with how exhausting it's been to find a boot in general that fits my foot. I've tried Jim Greens, Ariats, Thorogood, Georgia Boot etc. and they were too narrow even for a wide width option and have finally found a boot that can house a foot as wide as mine at their EE width. I'm excited to have a pair of Chelsea boots that fit, made of quality materials, that can be resoled down the line and look good. The only gripe I had with those boots was the insoles which was basically a flat piece of hardish foam but which I replaced with my own favored insoles. I definitely recommend these boots to anyone with wide feet.

Danner has always made a good quality boot this is the first work boot I have ever bought from them. my others Danners have been hiking and hunting. It might be a little more expensive than it should be, but I bought less expensive brands and they don't last especially the souls seem to be made of higher superior product should last a long time. Very happy with the fit and feel of this boot.
