I wear this style of boot all year round on our small farm in Kansas. I also typically wear them around town too, but the full boot version is heavy and not conducive to walking long distances. I saw these recently on an Internet add and thought this would be a great everyday boot with some all day comfort...so far I've been right. Like any new boot there is some break in time required, but after this initial break in period I've been very pleased with the quality and performance of these boots. They are a good looking boot and are much easier to put on and take off than the equivalent full-length boot. They seem to fit true to size which is an issue with some new boots. They shine up real nice and so far, seem to be reasonably scuff resistant when I'm kneeling down with the toes on the ground. I think though that ultimately what drew me to these boots is the fact that they are made in the U.S.A., this is a rare thing these days. I've worn red wings, Georgia boots, wolverine and everything in between, these boots are far and away the best Boots I've ever owned. They're so comfortable, I have bad knees and planter fascitis, these boots are like leather booties for my feet! They look great and are made Right here in the USA!

The heel on the sole is splitting! Bought 1/16/25 and have had them 3mo. Does not look like I can return on them and get another pair. I can understand a manufacture defect and would like to have another pair. Seems that I can not return them for another pair on Amazon.

Fits like a glove. Dr Martens didnt fit, Blundstones didnt' fit. These fit. I love this company. This one has the "factory floor" style shoe, I picked up a black pair of the same with the "outdoor" shoe bottom. Love em. Lost a star because it is somehow extra not waterproof? Like water ran right through it. You're going to want to spray some barrier on them. ... show more
