Fits true to size. I wear a 10.5 in all my Danner boots as well as my New Balance sneakers. Snug but not too tight. Comfortable out of the box and they are not broken in yet. Nice looking leather. Decent price. Feels like typical Danner quality.

I’ve always bought Thorogood work boots and wanted a similar boot but in Chelsea style. I work as a GC and spend 50 percent of my work behind the desk the other 50 walking the job site. I was worried that the boot would stretch and my feet would be slipping too much inside and not offer the support of a laced boot, but so far after a month it fits like a glove and my heel is comfortable. The quality and construction of the boot is 10/10. I got the same size as I always wear and it’s a tad big. However, I always put Superfeet insoles (green) and the boot fits perfectly even after break-in and a month of wearing every day. Hope this review helps. ... show more

Boots were a bit pricy compared to other Romeos on the market, but the Danner quality of leather and craftmanship were worth the difference. Boots were comfortable out of the box with no break-in time. I have very awkward feet and it's hard for me to find boots that fit me correct without making my feet and back hurt after being on them all day at work! Their work boots not made for hiking, maybe priced a little high for what they are, but they still are very nice boots and comfortable. They're very light weight and seem to be built very durable and have good grip for climbing up and down ladders and the beauty with no zipper or shoe strings. I wear this style of boot all year round on our small farm in Kansas. I also typically wear them around town too, but the full boot version is heavy and not conducive to walking long distances. I saw these recently on an Internet add and thought this would be a great everyday boot with some all day comfort...so far I've been right. Like any new boot there is some break in time required, but after this initial break in period I've been very pleased with the quality and performance of these boots. They are a good looking boot and are much easier to put on and take off than the equivalent full-length boot. They seem to fit true to size which is an issue with some new boots. They shine up real nice and so far, seem to be reasonably scuff resistant when I'm kneeling down with the toes on the ground. I think though that ultimately what drew me to these boots is the fact that they are made in the U.S.A., this is a rare thing these days. I've had them for about a month now and I'm confident that I'll get many years of wear out of them. I definitely recommend these boots for the reasons stated. ... show more

5 month update. These boots are comfy and I can be on my feet all day, but in my line of work they don’t last very long. Size and fit is great. IMO, not great for ditch digging.

They fit well formed to feet immediately no real break in period needed. Easy on no more struggles lacing boots up and sparks arnt going in lace holes from welding. Best purchase yet!
