This mat is hours of endless fun for kids….parents, well…it depends on how you look at it. Lol. This is the perfect babysitter if you are working on a project or need time to read. As for myself, I was putting a table together and needed time. My niece came over and when I say she was entertained for hours and went to sleep by herself….this was a true blessing. Now at some point the noise became overwhelming, but doable.

This toy is like buying your kid a drum set. It's a great way to get their energy out as well as teaching them the basics of an instrument; but when your kid is using it all day every day, it can drive some parents to the brink of insanity. Maybe limit play time at night, so you're not woken up at 1 am to your kid trying to play "Mary had a little lamb" over and over. Over all, I'd recommend for kids 6 and under, or for people that want to get revenge on a friend that has little kids.

Ok, so yeah it's a little step on piano - don't expect anything like from the movie BIG though. What I really liked was changing the instrument sounds - there are animals holding instruments below the piano keys - when you want to change instruments you just push on the animal with the instrument sound you want. I had some difficulty mastering the record and playback - everything else worked without any confusion on my part. My son has played with it a few times since we opened it, but I'm thinking it's just not his thing, he's more into construction vehicles and hotwheels. Otherwise, It's a nice little musical mat - easy to operate and the illustrations are cute.

The mat is adorable and colorful!!! It's long and big enough for lots of dancing to help get lots of energy out. Lots of ways for to expand creativity and learning. There are 10 colored musical keys with numbers on them to help with number and color recognition. There are eight music instruments to choice from which was fun to see the excitement in each new sound. You can record and play back your little ones creation and control the sound. It's easy to set up and comes with a tiny screw driver to install the batteries (9 take 3 AA batteries).

Fun Piano Mat for kids, ages include toddlers thru grandma, has 10 step pads and 28 different music sounds. Musical animal cartoon scene is cute. Easy to use and store, just roll or fold it up when done. Not sure how durable it will be in the long term, but so far it's working fine. Price point is considered reasonable.
