Very classy and sharp looking. Like the black interior as well, nice touch. Although , it did come damaged on the right rear edge there was a bad dent. Need heavy duty edge protection for shipping. Very disheartening to receive damaged product. So, to Danby.......you have a great product. Just need to protect it more. Very hard 5inch wide cardboard corner guards would protect the vulnerable corners on the product. 😏 other than that......you guys rock! ... show more

We purchased this to replace another we gave to our son when he moved out. I REALLY LOVE this little fridge! The light makes all the difference and with the dark interior, it really looks very nice. We use it mostly for storing bottled water so it does not take up so much space in our fridge. We used to own a water dispenser where you can get the big 5-10 gallon jugs of water, but it became more of a hassle to run out and fill the jugs than just getting the bottled waters to grab and go real quick. Love the storage it has inside the door and we even removed the shelving and put a tiered cake inside for a birthday. It is well worth he money! ... show more

It is exactly what I needed, tight fitting for bottles of beer or wine coolers but it is sleek and fits perfect for the bar. Back corners were damaged was disappointed with that.

    • Not what I expected
I spent allot of time researching little refrigerators and decided Danby offered the best value. I read all the Amazon reviews and selected a pair of DAR044A6MDB-6 4.4 cu. ft. black units. They arrived via Fed-X a day early. I greeted the Fed-X truck in my driveway and helped unload the units from the truck. After bringing the units into our home, I inspected the shipping cartons for damage and found no damage to the packaging. Immediately after unpacking the refrigerators, I found one sustained damage to lower side with evidence the sheet metal suffered a substantial blow that bent and kinked the steel outer shell. There was no evidence the shipping carton was impacted in a way to bend the cardboard and dent the refrigerator. I did remember one review on Amazon that mentioned similar damage to a delivered unit. How can a multi million dollar company like Danby spend millions of dollars developing and manufacturing their beautiful products only to employ gorillas in their finishing department to dent, package and ship damaged units? I plugged in my dented refrigerator and it ran fine, but it looks like hell. I could have bought a dented unit from Amazon Warehouse Deals at a reduced cost, but I wanted mine to be in perfect condition because it would be used in a location seen from all angles. Regretfully, I don't own the packaging equipment to securely install the plastic reinforced shipping bands that keep the packaging intact during transport so I can't safely return the unit for a refund. I never expected Amazon to ship damaged products from a company [Danby] that packages damaged merchandise and sells it as a perfect product. Had it been smaller, I would have returned it so it could join the other dented Danby refrigerators in the Amazon Warehouse Deal shipping facility. ... show more
