These DALIX replacement slats are a clear upgrade from what I had — my old blinds were sun-stained, brittle, and yellowing from decades of afternoon light, so anything would’ve been an improvement. But these are also just better quality. Thicker PVC, smoother finish, and they hang straight without that warped curl my old ones had. Color is a noticeably brighter white than my originals, which threw me at first, but honestly the room looks cleaner for it. They were easy to swap in — pop the old ones off, slide these on, done. Pros: • Thicker, better-quality PVC than typical originals • Hang straight, no warping • Easy to install on existing tracks • Clean white finish • Great value vs. replacing the whole blind system Cons: • “White” is genuinely white — may look bright next to older, yellowed slats if you only replace some • Standard length, so you may need to trim for shorter windows Tips: • Replace all the slats at once if you can — partial replacement makes the color mismatch obvious • Trim with sharp scissors or a craft knife if you need to shorten • Wipe down with a damp cloth occasionally — they clean up easily ... show more

After reading reviews I was a little concerned. But the five star reviews are spot on. They came in a large coil; I laid them flat over night as suggested. They were super easy to install ( I am 5’0” and didn’t even need a step stool or my 6’2” hubby.) . I didn’t have to trim, so that was not an issue. Only suggestion I would give: if you have pets, grab a few dryer sheets and slide the blades through as you hang them to eliminate pet hair. They won’t keep the hair off, but at least you can have clean blades to start with! ... show more

I bought these to replace some of the ones that had broken earlier this year. These ones are more durable than the ones that are already hanging. The color is a little off, but there’s not much difference. It blocks the light, the material is durable. And they fit perfect!

Although they are a slightly different color than what I already have and they don't hang perfectly straight, these work very well for what I need. I alternated them every other one with my existing blinds so much harder to see the color difference (that's the pic where they are fully closed). The color diff. is more obvious if the slats are separated (the pic where blinds are partially open). Very easy to cut to size. Rolled in small box for shipping but were flat immediately upon unboxing as seen in the picture. They are not top quality and fully opaque but I wasn't expecting that for the price. The blinds I already had weren't either. Happy with this purchase and would buy this brand and from this seller again. Excellent deal for the price. ... show more

The item arrived quickly and is of good quality overall. As expected, due to the tight rolling during packaging, the slats are not completely straight when hung—there’s a slight curve at the bottom that’s noticeable if you look closely. In my case, I only needed to replace two slats, so it’s not very noticeable and works fine visually. For the price, this is a great option—especially for a rental, where my landlord charges $50 per slat to replace! Overall, I’m happy I found a cost-effective solution. Our apartment has these standard flimsy vertical blinds along our sliding glass door - you stare at one wrong and the top plastic bracket snaps. Alongside many apartments - they also try to nickel-and-dime us in any possible way they can so anytime they do these “patio/exterior” checks they want $5 per slat to replace. Lowes did not have single slat replacements in store, while I was nervous to order off Amazon without seeing these to ensure they matched - I am so glad I took the chance. I ordered on sale, just under $20 for 5 slats which is slightly less than my apartment charges but hey - you know it’s really bad when you’re saying I rather give hard-earned money to a big corp like Amazon than the apartment complex you live in but that is where we are at! The color - as you can see, is slightly more white than our originals but the dimensions are exactly as listed and match. I am lucky that the slats being coiled in the box upon arrival really didn’t affect them laying flat they look great right out of the box. I will say they do tend to “cling” or drift to one side ever so slightly but this could be due to static from just being pulled out of the box and it does not bother me.
