This is a VERY well built, sturdy and high quality bed frame for the money. No wooden slats, it's all steel. Fits a queen mattress perfectly. I love the headboard as it serves as a small shelf for phones to charge or alarm clocks to sit. The plug in function is definitely a winner with two USB ports and two standard plug ins. It doesn't sit too high, so it's easy to get on and off the bed without feeling like you have to hop up or down. Overall my fiancee and I agree it's the best bed frame for the money spent. I have had it almost a year and it's still like new. No signs of wear or anything coming apart/separting.

I also bought a queen mattress from another company when buying this item, the bed frame was very easy to assemble other then headboard, the build quality is good, it’s lightweight with high weight capacity, very low to minimal noise only one occasional squeak , it was the right sized and the value for the price is worth it! It's cute, and it's the perfect size for my mattresses . The hight is perfect for me, and it's a very sturdy structure. I did some jumping and dancing on the bed to test the noise, it's completely silent. It was fairly easy to assemble, took about an hour with 2 people. Good amount of space for storage underneath. Only 1 USB works out of my 2, but the outlet works fine. over all im pretty happy :).

My husband and I upgraded from a queen size to a king size and love this design. The build quality is amazing. We love king size beds because they are so spacious and it fits perfectly in our bedroom. Bought for my 15 year old daughter. Me and her put it together took maybe an hour and a half. Was pretty easy to put together had all the parts and tools needed to build. The shelf at the top is a little small but it's very sturdy. Sits high enough of the for storage under the bed. For the price you honestly can't go wrong. I would recommend buying this. Great for a child needing a twin bed. Not sure if it said you needed a box spring but I did put one on my daughter's bed and she loves it cause the bed is higher.
