    • Solid build, more like an e-motorcycle than an e-bike
It looks just like the pictures, except that it's heavier (like other missing info, no mention of weight, which is an estimated 80 pounds). Everything needed was in box, including a multi-tool that handled each and every task. Watching the sort of silly, sped up video was somewhat helpful, e.g., there are two nearly invisible black arrows on the black plastic ends of the electrical wire connection for front motor - line the arrows up and insert, then tighten. Being unable to see those arrows, I managed to tighten the three-pronged connection incorrectly, which caused the front motor to make a noise but not work at all. Fortunately it seems to work perfectly (complete with it's dual motor drive front wheel 'bite') after matching the invisible arrows. There were some installation instructions but no user manual, and nothing online either. One complaint is that there seems to be no way to adjust the controller settings, such as display brightness (very hard to see color display in daylight! should have used monochrome!). You might want to know that this bike is beyond the class 3 category, which is generally the highest street legal class of ebike in US. However, that fact is not obvious, as there are no clear markings on the bike to indicate its power...which is considerable. Bike seems to top out at 28-29 mph when using just the rear motor (at highest pedal assist rating of 7) - so, functionally, it acts like a class 3 bike when using rear motor. Push the D/S button for dual motor and you shoot right up to 35mph on the flat, much more on the downhill, so don't be using that speed where you will attract unwanted attention (or endanger other bike riders). The black matte color looks blackout anyway, so think of it as a stealth bomber. Which it is. Especially that very nice frame shock absorber under the seat (immediately replaced both seat and handlebar for a Cloud 9, and a cruising handlebar. Nice! The red brake calipers do look cool, and the hydraulic disc brakes are necessary for this much weight; they work well. Trafly, like similar brands, seems like a popup Chinese company, here one day and gone the next, but they do have a website and the bike apparently remains available there. It does seem to be well-built and well-outfitted, with amazing torque and more speed than you actually need. It is quite a lot of equipment for the price. While the throttle seems, like most ebikes, to be all on or off, you can finesse your speed with the throttle some, adding more control limits with choice of 1 or 2 motors. It was surprising to let go of throttle and feel the bike zooming ahead on autopilot when it first occurred. Could be dangerous if not prepared for this (no manual/use instructions, sorry! no 5 stars!). However, once you know this happens, it can be seen as a plus, since it is unadvertised, automatic cruise control! Just touch either brake and it's off. ... show more

    • Read this before you order!!
I purchased this bike, its a great bike, its solid and has so much potential!! Then its all went down hill, and fast!! One of 2 things or both are at play. The instructions manual provided has no information on how to set up the bike, how to assemble the bike yes , but nothing on function. I have several ebiked so this is all standard information on all bikes. Tire size, wattage/ voltage, pass, pedal assist, throttle only, brightness. The standard any ebike has. I requested the setup info several time's with eather no response or a video on how to use the NFC card, witch does nothing the on off button won't accomplish. I tried every combination. There's nothing there. You can NOT adjust any settings! It is 100% pedal assist, and throttle, if the throttle is held open for 3 sec. It engages the cross so when you stop pedaling and let off the throttle THE BIKE KEEPS GOING at full speed!! Grabbing a hand full of brakes will shut it down.. A young rider or new to the Ebike world, or simply attempting to coast is eating the back of a truck. Panic sets in really quick, as it did with my son. He only flew through a stop sign and nearly got T-boaned!!! We never use pedal assist, only throttle control. Who does on a 5000w bike?!? Nobody Pedal just to move the crank arm on a decent and the bike lunches. So one of 2 things getting the runaround with this co. They have no idea how the bike operates? I believe this to be the case here. Or they are well aware of the get what ya get and go eat shaving cream, LCD display and plan to give you the runaround for 30 day. I change up my bikes all the time, battery tires sprocket, no big deal. Make som quick changes and off ya go. NOPE not this one. Otherwise it was awesome!
