Description

The DGS-1100-05PDV2 5-Port PoE-powered Gigabit Smart Managed PoE switch is designed to meet the requirements of small, medium, and enterprise business networks. The switch is PoE-powered, receiving power from an upstream PoE Switch or PoE injector, and does not need local AC power to operate. It also supports PoE Pass-through, propagating PoE power to one or two downstream devices. Compliant with IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), the switch consumes less energy by cutting down on power consumption when port utilization is low. It also features D-Link Green technology that helps save energy automatically. The switch can be managed by an intuitive client-based utility or a web-based management interface. The web-based interface provides a user-friendly way for network administrators to manage the switch down to the port level. The switch supports 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, and Bandwidth Limiting. Advanced security features include Static MAC, Storm Control, and IGMP Snooping. It also features Loopback Detection and Cable Diagnostics to help network administrators find and solve network problems quickly and easily. The DGS-1100-05PDV2 carries a Lifetime Warranty which includes Next Business Day (NBD) hardware replacement.
