I have a number of D'Addario guitar tuners and they've all been dependable and accurate. This violin tuner is no different. It clips on the violin securely and crucially allows you to decide how tightly you want to affix it to the instrument. It's unclear what the durability of the locking mechanism is over time. It has tiny rubberized pads that should be gentle on the instrument. The tuner is accurate and vibration-based so it works in noisy environments, which is key. ... show more
