Love this little clip on tuner. Display is clear and colors are bright, yet it's discreet and low profile. Clip holds nicely and has a wide range. It's accurate and sensitive, and works well with tunings outside of standard. Can't ask for much more for the price, I ended up buying 2!

I’ve used a lot of tuners over the years, and the D'Addario Accessories Micro Headstock Tuner is by far one of the best small tuners I’ve come across. The compact design makes it easy to clip onto my guitar without being in the way, and the discreet size doesn’t affect the look of my instrument. Despite its small size, it’s incredibly accurate and does the job perfectly every time. This tuner works great for acoustic, electric, bass guitars, and even my ukulele! It’s versatile and adapts easily to different instruments. I especially love how quickly it tunes – the LCD screen is easy to read, and the clip-on mechanism ensures a secure fit on the headstock. It also holds up well, even in noisy environments like band practice or gigs. What really stands out is how reliable and consistent it is. This was actually even smaller than I expected it to be. It lives quietly and comfortably on the head of my 5 string Ibanez bass. I can tune my bass perfectly with it, however it takes a little more time and work than something like a standard Snark. Even the Snark has a problem with the low B string, and this tuner struggles a little harder to hear it. It also has a little more trouble with the low E than the Snark. The other 3 strings pick up nicely, but there is still a delay between when the string is plucked and when it displays anything. A quick harmonic check (by ear) on all strings is helpful to fine tune. While on and not receiving input, it seems to blink continuously, I guess to let you know that it is on and waiting to "hear" a note. This is confusing and makes it look as though it is malfunctioning at first, although it does not appear to be. The metronome function works nicely (but silently), but I'll probably never use it. The ratcheting arm holds onto the head nicely, and does not slip at all. I think I prefer it to the padded spring clip on a Snark. The tuner swivels on the clip, making it pretty easy to see from most angles. It would be nice if it was more like a ball joint than a swivel for even more angles, but I think that would increase the size. It is helpful that the screen can be flipped to accommodate my preferred orientation. It is set to A440, but that is very easily adjustable if desired. The controls, in fact, are very simple and easy to use. Overall for about 12 bucks, I'm happy with it. That is, as long as it continues to work properly, and the additional time required to use it doesn't get annoying. I have not yet tested it on other instruments, but from how it works with my bass, I think it will actually work better on something like a guitar or mandolin.

OMG!!! So tiny, so awesome! So easy to use! I wanted something small enough to fit in my uke bag that wouldn't add weight and clutter. I had read the reviews on this and the size was appealing to me. That ended up being the deciding factor for me. I'm a traveler and every ounce counts when you're packing up the backpack. When this arrived, I was actually shocked at just how small it is!!! It's perfect!!! And it's super SUPER easy to use. It's discreet, uncumbersome and I pretty much just leave it on constantly. I love that it can be put on to your instrument in many different ways and that the screen allows you to have the display turn four different directions. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that I had read in reviews and descriptions that it was also supposed to have a built in metronome.... mine does not. But I won't let this change my opinion of this GREAT product!!! So happy I picked this one. I could literally leave it on my instrument permanently or put it in a pencil case inside my bag. Perfect! I like the multiple colors on the display that let you know how far off you are. If you need a low-profile, light, easy to use tuner that's easy to read and position on your instrument... that you can use with anyone knowing it's there..... ORDER THIS TUNER!!! Love it!!! I do!
