It is a nice color, I got the pink to avoid another black piece of gear, and that turned out to be a great decision. The color is a softish pink that is easy on the eyes! The stand was manufactured well with no defects, and the quality of metal seems pretty good. It is thin in construction, but the bottom bass and tube material are impossible to flex by squeezing with hands for me at least, and I work out pretty regularly. I am very happy with this purchase. It all fits in a small bag that's included, without the need to break it down into pieces! Just slide it all together with the lockers lose and it fits in a small bag. The book clip works well, though I don't typically use those! (Disclaimer: The light in my picture is aftermarket Vekkia) The height is pretty good! I keep it at sitting height, but it can go all the way up to about chest height which is fine for standing applications, though I'd prefer it capable of eye level! I am around 6 foot tall for reference. I also enjoy using it for holding cookbooks while cooking! It's well worth the money for the multiple use of functionality, quality, and compact storage. The only issue is it does seem to "wilt" at maximum extended height, but it locks up pretty sturdy and level when the pipes are at least an inch passed the tightening screw in the rods. Good job, Cahaya! I would consider purchasing from this company again.

Got this for my son and I love how easy it is to put together and take apart, he can easily pull it out when he’s ready to practice his violin and just as easily puts it away when he’s done. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, he’s able to take it with him to friends houses too when they practice together. Great price for the quality, we’re super happy with it.

I've been a professional gigging musician for about 40 years; I have so many music stands all over my studio, house, gig bag etc. Generally they are really light and flimsy, or too heavy and sturdy (as a keyboard player, I am already hauling around a lot of gear). This stand is the perfect solution; super lightweight but with thumb screws to hold the segments in place, rather than those crappy pressure clips. Really well designed and manufactured.

So, I rarely remember to leave reviews and it's only the products that really stand out or I feel like I have something useful to say that I immediately go write one. This is one of those occasions, and probably not for the reason you'd think. A little backstory, I'm a typical white America nearly 40 year old bachelor. I recently got a rotation at work so I can work from home now (lucky me, I know). I was looking for something that would be fun, could provide a light to moderate workout if done right, and something I could pickup and put down in the little inbetween breaks doing work. So after some questionable logical jumps, I decided to learn the drums. Skipping forward, I bought a famous book on drum rudiments and needed a way to hold it while I played. Hence this purchase. Now to the point.... Being this thing is like.. What? $18? I didn't expect a whole lot, but I'm just a dude in his house that sucks at drums not a professional musician. So I didn't NEED much. Let me just say.. This thing could be a month long course in a Product Engineering class. It's made of the THINNEST wall tubes, the thumbscrews are absolutely no longer than they need to be, the music holder part is riveted thin sheet metal and two springs. But you know what? IT FREAKIN WORKS GREAT! It's not the most stable thing in the world in the sense of, if I was a concert musician I wouldn't trust my career on it. But for anyone short of that, It's plenty stable for daily use. The NICE thing is.. BECAUSE it's so thin, and small, AND it comes with a little travel bag. It all wraps up nice and tight into a little travel package. It even has a little attachment to make it a desktop music holder, though I haven't used that yet. All in all, be prepared when you open it to think "What the hell is this cheap piece of...", But believe me. Put it together first and try it and you'll change your tone to "Damn, Whoever their Engineers are need a raise." 5/5, Pleasantly surprised. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
