Update since original purchase: -- Two years later, and this dome is still in excellent shape. I am still using the original plastic cover, but it's nice to know that one can buy a replacement. -- The dome is fantastic in winter and summer. In the past, we never used our roof top in the winter because it was too cold. This dome traps the hear from a small electric heater and it's wonderful to sit up there on a snowy evening. -- The quality of this is great -- much better than two other brands I tried. I have had this up since November and I am delighted. Here is my thoughts: -- Most importantly for me is that this is the sturdiest and most durable bubble we have tried. It lasted all winter, through wind, rain, and snow, and it's still in perfect shape. We are using it in an area where it gets lots of wear and tear, specifically a NYC rooftop in the winter. We had previously purchased every year an Alvantor, but it never made it through the winter (the plastic would tear, or snow would collapse it). -- I assembled it on my own, including putting the plastic over the structure. It took me about 2 hours and I had fun. I echo some of the other comments here that it was a fun half-afternoon project. -- The geodesic nature of the structure make is snow-resistant (slides off the top) and very sturdy. -- The plastic cover is thicker, higher quality and more durable than the Alvantor. In the cold temperatures it doesn't split or puncture if the furniture hits it. -- I will disassemble it and put it in storage until next winter. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I never write reviews but I had to in this case. I was shopping for something to block the wind from hitting our heads while we were in the Jacuzzi and keep the heat in the water . I tried tents but they were too unstable with the curtains attached to the side and we also couldn't see outside of it. Other structures were way more expensive and too permanent for our deck where we wanted to situate it. I've seen these at Restaurants and roof tops so we started to look and there it was. Exactly what we needed. Easy to set up with 2 people but no issues with one. So tempted to get more and set them up around the yard. The only complaint I might have is that I wish they had something a little bit more secure for the cover that attaches to the frame at the bottom. That way the wind doesn't blow it away from the bottom. I ended up just zip tying around the top of the Velcro to the frame. No issues we just had some strong winds come through the other day. Not absolutely needed but I don't want to see my igloo in the neighbors yard!

We are a restaurant. We bought three and they have proven very durable during the winter season. For us, getting another season of use is a victory, and we certainly will. Might we get 3 seasons? Maybe. For home use, you should get multiple seasons. Note that they take ~1 hour to build, so you are probably leaving them up for the entire season. We did have one of the plastic connectors break and reached out to CZBRO, offering to buy them, and they sent us 2 for free. Great service! We use small propane heaters (Home Depot) on cold days because running electric cables isn't feasible, but I'd recommend electric if you can do.

This arrived with 42 5 hole connectors, but no 6 hole connectors. Also, the connectors aren't labelled at all, and the pipes only on one side, instead of on both ends, offset by 180 degrees. I manually labelled things while I wait for the replacement parts. update: the company is very responsive and has sent the correct connectors and some replacement parts, but connectors keep breaking faster than they can be replaced. the dome has been up 1 month and 1 pole and 4 connectors have broken.

Worst thing I’ve ever bought off of Amazon. The company’s policy also is NOT to replace broken parts…they expect you to tear it down and send it back. Avoid this product at all costs. It’s total junk

Took 4 hours to put together, placing the plastic over was the easiest. Not sure how this will hold up when it gets really cold. Not sure how the plastic rods will be in temps below 10, if they will become brittle and crack. Also not sure how the top of the dome will hold up in a sort of heavy wet snow. We are not sure what weight it can hold of snow. The stakes that come with are good with notches on either side. Once ethe ground freezes, I can’t imagine these coming out of the ground. This was pretty expensive, I hope when winter really arrives it will be worth it and not collapse. For the reasons questionable reasons above I’m only going to give this a 3 out of 5 stars. Let’s see how well it holds up in the extreme cold and snow. Typically Chicago weather. 🤞 Update 12/29/21-2 weeks ago we had high winds, the plastic cover came off, no rips tears, took us 10 minutes to place back on. The skeleton structure held together perfectly. I am happy we bought this.

First it was super simple to assemble and seems to be durable. The plastic cover is fairly thick and the frame fits together nicely. I’m sure the zippers will loosen up and make it easier to open and close as it is used more. 1. What is the best way to heat it in winter. 2. How do I remove the wrinkles in the plastic cover?
