Installation was easy, and it appears to be well made. If it's too heavy for this hitch maybe don't try pulling with it? That's just common sense. Otherwise it will work perfectly fine for pulling a wagon or roller around your yard.

Description says "one piece die-casting". Part does not appear to be die cast but formed sheet. A difference that means nothing. Downgrade (to a 4) was because of serrated nut and bolt intended to lock into material of hitch and mower to prevent rotation and prevent loosening. Likely damaging finish and providing a site for corrosion. Installed with washers under bolts and nuts with blue thread locker to prevent rotation . Bought a second for my son.

I purchased this for my Hustler Raptor XD to pull a lawn roller. The previous SD model had the hitch built-in, but now Hustler sells the hitch attachment separately for $50+. This piece does exactly what I need it to do for $30 less. The included magnetic pin was a little too big for my roller, so I used a smaller diameter clevis pin. Worked perfectly. Just attached to my Scag Liberty Z 42” zero turn mower. Check out what Scag wants for theirs, crazy expensive. Metal is solid and paint job looks great. Very easy to mount. Package comes with mount and two sets of bolts and nuts, one set just a bit longer than the other in case you need the extra length. Took me less than 5 minutes to install. Just have a small level handy when you tighten up the hardware to ensure the mount is attached correctly level. Really great quality, I’d highly recommend. Haven’t used yet but it’s there if I need it.

Works like a champ. Bought a new bad boy mower and needed to hook up my sweeper and much to my surprise there was nowhere to attach it. Holes matched right up, it’s just the right size and tough as nails. I’d say I’d definitely buy it again but I doubt I’ll ever need to!
