This works fine with my PC but I bought it to replace headphones in my class on student chromebooks because their headphones jacks were broken and these headphones are terrible! The sound starts off too low and when you adjust the volume it switches suddenly to way too loud making it unusable.

I ordered these headphones for review because I needed something simple for use on Zoom. (No there is no microphone attached, I use a separate mic.) On first inspections I was kind of worried given how small they were. But once I put them on my head they felt good enough. I did notice that they had antiquate padding for comfort, but didn't help keep some of the background noise from bothering me while using them. The audio quality is decent, you can hear most music tracks in surround sound, but they didn't have much of a bass kick to them so they are not the greatest when it comes to music. Installing the headphones was easy, you literally plug the USB into the device and they will quickly sync and get sound. But for some reason my PC identifies this headphone set as a PC speaker. There is no volume control on the headset, making it blast as loud as possible on the Nintendo Switch, and PS4. The cord length is kind of short, but maybe I'm just spoiled, as the cord length is just long enough to reach around the computer desk and plug into the back of my PC unit. Using a chromatic lens you can see that the headset is really really a dark red color. [not that this impacts the score what so ever.] The Good: + Decent budget quality audio, for video conferencing. + Comfortable foam cushioning. + Plug and play, and easy to set up and use. The Bad: - The lack of a volume control method is a deal-breaker anywhere besides on a PC. - The short cord keeps me from reclining in my office chair while using it. The Ugly: {} The audio quality is not great for listening to music, especially with heavy bass. {} The padding doesn't help much with keeping nearby noise out. Conclusion: This is a simple design headphone set that is fairly run of the mill. it's not particularly doing anything wrong in the budget headphone space, but it's not doing much to stand out either. For the price this is not a bad headphone set, but if you are looking for anything beyond something easy to use and functional for a video conference, you would probably want to look elsewhere. I would recommend this product most for children, for use in virtual educational purposes. ... show more

I didn't need anything fancy. My speakers on my PC didn't get loud enough for me. I didn't need fancy sound, I was just looking for something to plug and play and that didn't hurt my ears. This one does just that. As long as I can plug it in when I want to watch a video and can unplug it when I don't need it. The sound worked fine for me, but like I said, I wasn't looking for high end. I don't care about the bass etc. as long as I can hear and understand what is being said I'm good. They were also comfortable for me, which is rare, because I have nerve damage and often earphones hurt my ears, but this one didn't. For me, cheaper was better. ... show more
