I absolutely love this! Challenging enough for the minor details, but also fun. I really enjoyed putting it together. Very simple, easy to follow instructions and details. Very beautiful end result. Few things to note that you will need for proper assembly (see photo): Glue: I used fabric glue and regular glue stick. I prefer the fabric glue because it’s thick enough not to run (like the super glue). The glue stick that kids use at school was great for assembling the books and papers for the desk. Scissors: cutting the books covers out. Unless you have a really fine paper cutter. This took a lot if time. I recommend keeping the wooden book pieces as a whole and glue the books covers cover one at a time and snapping them off once the paper is glued on. I found it was easier this way Wood marker: I used this to color in the attachment edges. When the pieces snap off, they have a different color where they were attached to the wood sheets. This way the color is the same actoss the edges. Not necessary for most of the pieces, but may look nicer. Tape. Use clear tape to keep the light cord in place. They did provide some sticker tape, but wasn’t sure where I was supposed to use this. AAA batteries are needed and not included. I recommend this product. It was fun to build and beautiful finished product.

Wonderful product very fun to assemble and the instructions were great!! It was well made and all of the pieces were very detailed, nothing looked odd or out of place! All of these style of puzzles are a bit tricky due to smaller parts and interference connections, however it was very straight forward.

This is one of the cutest little model buildings, especially because my mother was Mrs Hunt, AND she loved baking. Loved seeing the pretzels also, because she grew up in Bavaria, Germany. This was perfect for my husband to build. Took him several days, 2-5 hours each. He totally took his time. It's not very hard to put together either.

This was super fun to put together. I didn’t find it difficult but it’s definitely a puzzle for older teens and adults. My biggest issue was with the plastic sheets for the windows. One window, the plastic didn’t want to stay curved no matter how many times I glued it and waited for it to cure, as you can see the cloudy one in the photos. Speaking of which, this kit didn’t come with glue like some others I’ve gotten so make sure you get some when buying this puzzle in particular. Some of the pieces ended up breaking when I took them out so I had to fix them, but it was only a one or two. Overall it’s very cute and will make an excellent addition to my home decor.

If your buying book nooks I highly recommend this company. I’m on my 4th project. Pieces are made well but you still need patience as pieces can break. The instruction book is fantastic as far as easy to follow.

My daughter bought this for me for my bookshelves. When I saw this little crime scene, I really wanted this for my thrillers shelf and it looks great there. The instructions were pretty clear and my daughter and I worked as a team to get this built. She is a huge fan of lego so she loves to build things. I handled the punch outs, the stickers and the lights. It is certainly easy enough to do alone but it was fun to work the puzzle together and only took a few hours. Long enough to enjoy the task but not too arduous that we were tired and frustrated. This was our second attempt at one of these builds so we were already aware of the dangers of breaking some of the more delicate pieces, especially when trying to force them into the slots. There are extras of some of the more delicate pieces since they know you will probably snap one or two. It happens. (Some parts in the back and you will never notice that they are altered. It's okay.) It does come with a little tool to help your fingers push out the die cut pieces or for pushing them into slots. Use it! We even used a small hammer and this tool to tap in some of the more snug pieces. I really wish it came with a sturdier tool to help get the stickers on and to get these difficult pieces in. It would be worth a few dollars more to get a decent tool to work with.

Definitely worth it with the final product! I did have a couple of the thin pieces easily break and had to superglue those (table with the chest piece legs and the sign outside leg). It was easier to just tape the lights in place than to use the wooden pieces. Use craft tweezers for the screws to get them in 10x quicker! Love having the front of the store on and even my husband thinks it is extremely pretty and cool!
