The media could not be loaded. This doll is so realistic. It really looks real! The eyelashes are so sweet. The hair is painted on. His little lips look so real. His little nose is a little shiny by the nostrils which adds to the realism. I feel like I wish his body was a little softer. The body is a bit like hard plastic, but slightly softer. It takes away from him feeling real. It would be nice if his fingers were all separated. As you can see in the video I posted, his right hand is balled up, which is cute. His left hand is open, but his thumb and pointer finger are kind of fused together. This was a Christmas present for my 12 year old daughter who is still into baby dolls. I figured it may be her last year of asking for a baby doll so I wanted to get her a really nice one. She is in love with this one! Now. For those that didn’t read the description well, THIS DOLL IS ANATOMICALLY CORRECT!!!! I don’t really know why there are so many negative reviews on this aspect of the doll. It’s correct. It looks realistic. So if that makes you uncomfortable, definitely get another doll. The baby looked so real. It had really realistic veins. His little outfit was so cute he even fit premie baby clothes. His little bottle and rattles were so cute. We ordered 2 of these dolls. One for each of our youngest Granddaughters. It’s almost scary how lifelike these dolls are. Other than being slightly smaller than a real baby, which is perfect, because they are just the right size for a 6 and 8 year old, they really look like newborn babies. Be warned they are very accurate. In other words, they are anatomically correct which kind of surprised my wife 😊 I’m far from being a doll expert, but they appear to be very well made and durable. So far they have survived a few temper tantrums unscathed. The Girls absolutely love them. They carry them around and treat them like real babies. I’m really glad to see them playing with something that stimulates their imaginations as opposed to being on an iPad all day. I just wanted to leave a review to save another mom such as myself, my 6 year old was so excited to get this doll with her own money and upon arrival went to change his clothes and found that he has realistic genitals. Now she has a little brother so this wasn’t surprising to her, but could be to some little ones and now she’s mortified and upset she doesn’t want to bring this to her elementary class room to play with her friends, nor would I allow it. ... show more
