Recently my daughter had a baby and they visit often. My mom, who has dementia, keeps wanting to hold him but we can't let her for fear she would drop him since she doesn't have much strength any longer. So she started talking to pillows, or imaginary babies. We felt it was time to get her a baby she could hold. My biggest fear is that she would realize it was a doll and not want it. So we wrapped up the babydoll and set her on the couch to "sleep" and let mom decide if she thought the baby was real or not. Mom took to the baby right away, she cuddles her baby, sings to her and keeps her warm. She keeps telling me about how cute she is and to look at her little eye lashes. The baby is the perfect size and weight for her. The only thing she did mention is how hard the baby's face is, "it feels like the dolls I used to have". She is very impressed with how beautiful she is and her smooth skin. She hasn't noticed the binky is just magnetic and doesn't have the sucky part, which was another concern I had. But mom has her baby and this has been a blessing for her! Wish the baby was more flexable, but that hasn't been an issue for mom yet. 😁

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely not like it’s advertised. This baby is hard. I would not have spent this much money for something that the only quality improved from a Walmart doll is the face appearance. Spend more money and get something better. It is not squishy like it appears- the back is rock hard, the head is not part of the body- there is a seam that can be separated. Seriously- just don’t. I didn’t expect the same quality of the really pricey ones- but this is not even close!

Very cute doll looks pretty realistic, but I thought it was silicone so that’s why I returned it. May I add that when this initial item arrived to my doorstep it was not in careful packaging. It was in the original packaging. You could clearly see that it was a reborn doll and I feel that with it being so visible it could’ve easily gotten stolen. The doll is made of a hard plastic. It’s accessories were just kind of lying around within the box. It wasn’t carefully packaged so even if I would’ve kept it I still would’ve been very upset about the packaging at arrival.
