What is there not to love about a Cutco knife? Made in the USA! The balance of the knife in your hand is excellent and if you take reasonable care with this beauty, the cutting edge will give you years; and I mean years; of worry free cutting ability in a kitchen setting and you don't have to worry about cutting your finger off because that dull blade slipped while cutting a tomato. Let's face it, in the kitchen your "good cutting knives" get abused by everyone in the house.... it's a box cutter....it gets used on clamshell plastic packaging.....it gets used on zip ties and to pry things open.... By the time I come into the kitchen to prepare dinner, most other blades are left for me to re-sharpen😣. Even with warnings to family members that they will meet with great bodily harm, if I catch them opening yet another Amazon box, I still catch them sneaking my Cutco knives out to the garage. "Buy a box cutter from Amazon the next time you order for God's sake!" is usually met with dumb stares, but by the time I get my Cutco back, it works like a dream! ... show more

Holy cow, I have been in the military 20 years and I've never seen a knife this sharp. Outstanding product and cuts like a light saber (you get the point). My sister in law had one of these and I used it and fell in love. This one does all the duties for small cutting chores and can't be beat (in my opinion). It is not a big carving knife, but it cuts vegetables, cheese, etc superbly. It is worth every penny. ... show more

This is the best everyday kitchen knife you'll likely find anywhere. Durable, practical, multifunctional (if knives can be termed as such), and easy to grip and use. The white/pearl version is slightly cheaper than the black one but having owned both, I think the pearl is more gorgeous to look at.

We've used one for several years - got this one to gift my daughter. Ideal weight and shape for utility purposes, especially where a serrated edge is desired. The knife has maintained sharpness through heavy use. I prefer Solingen knives for most purposes, but this is my go-to for trimming and tomato slicing. My wife uses it for everything. ... show more
