Thought this mattress was a bit pricey compared to others of similar size .... until I opened it and put it on my daybed. Perfect width, height and length. The gel makes it very comfortable and helps to retain its shape nicely. Attractive design on exterior of mattress; no odor after opening from the vacuum sealed bag and mattress opened to its natural shape in very little time. No one has slept on it yet but it is very comfortable to sit on. Would recommend this seller highly; mattress was packaged exceptionally well, delivery was way ahead of what was scheduled and price is very fair for this item.

Arrived early in excellent condition, no odor at all. This is a difficult size to find, especially in 8". I noticed when ordering this size there was no indication of "firmness" level. I assumed wrongly it would be "medium/firm". Although I would still give the mattress itself as well as delivery 5 stars, it is extremely uncomfortable for me because it is the "marshmallow" level of firmness. The mattress (on Zinus metal frame) was/is intended to be used as an extra sleeping arrangement for me in extra bedroom where toddler granddaughter sleeps on weekends. I allowed the mattress to breathe and "do its thing" for a full 7 days before first sleep. The mattress did puff up more and edges completely filled the casing very nicely. I have just completed 2 consecutive nights on this mattress and for me, it is just very uncomfortable because it is far too soft for my orthopedic needs. If any shopper is looking for a very soft mattress, I highly recommend this one. I probably will not return this product, merely to avoid the hassel and inconvenience but I have learned an expensive lesson in verifying level of firmness prior to purchase :(

So I scoured the reviews on this product and all of the best reviews SEEMED to come from getting the 10 inch model as opposed to the 6 or 8 inch which were a mixed bag. I ordered, showed up in a box, idk if its due to the size but it expanded fast, like almost immediately, I guess because it's foam. I didn't even wait the full 48 hours. I tried it out 12 hours later as the mattress looked totally full and good to go. And....I love it. 50x better than the mattresses that came with the rv. Pretty firm but it's foam so it kind of envelops you ever so slightly. I've only slept on it for three nights so far but if it manages to retain this firmness and comfort for even six more months; I'll be pretty pleased. Will try to remember to update later if it dies on me sooner than that.

I was concerned this would be a firm, foam-feeling bed, but we bought the 6" (and it is after we opened the box and unrolled it from its compact shipping box. In hindsight, I should have spent a little more and gotten the 8" or even 10" but this is for guest room , second twin...in small space, so I was trying to keep it in budget. I am pleased and while the 30"' width does limit space for a "flipper" sleeper, my guests (so far all family members, who I asked to be truthful when it came to "rating" comfort when they visited) say it is very comfortable and all have slept well in it--each for a few nights in a row. When I sit or lie on it, I find it a bit too squishy for my taste. Comfortable, yes, but I am a traditionalist and prefer the springs/coils and extra padding on a mattress. However, for the price, the quick delivery and perfect size for my small guest room, I am VERY happy with it! I may be tempted to put a board or cut a sheet of plywood to fit to provide a bit more support, especially near the sides/ends of the mattress. Will let you all know if I do.

Reviews helped me to choose this mattress/company. Custom fitted/sized mattress of Med. firm density is perfect for our needs, not too firm, with a bit of give. Intending to add a plush mattress protector, to pamper my grandchild. I'm not disappointed in any way. The seams are nice and tight, the cover has a smooth texture, and is attractive. After removing the heavy weight packaging plastic... the mattress expanded completely within 24 hrs, filling out perfectly. We were very impressed with the quality of this mattress, so glad it's made in the USA! If you are looking to customize, as I did, do not hesitate to deal with this company! They are very accommodating, and aim to please.

When it started expanding I was like omg this thing is fat!!! Lol so glad I spend the extra money on this mattress instead of buying the $100 6” mattress. I paid like $240 for this one or something like that. And ya it feels like it has a memory foam or something in it. I don’t feel any springs or anything I just feels like memory foam. And it’s firm and doesn’t sink when I lay on it. I’m hella happy about my bamboo mattress. It’s sick!!! It’s hella comfortable and i usually always just return everything on Amazon and put bad reviews on everything but this bamboo is worth it. When expanded it came out to 9” wide not 10”. And the length is 74”it feels high quality and there is like suede on the sides

I order a custom-size mattress for a cot I built for my RV. With arthritic hips, a recent camping trip yielded sleepless nights and stiffness/pain in the mornings. Ready to sell the RV, I thought I'd try one more thing--a better mattress. So, taking a chance, I contacted Customize Bed Inc. who immediately responded. Immediately, not days later. "YES, the could make any size I wanted, and YES I could have 6" very firm, with 2" very soft topping." I placed the order on a Friday and they shipped on Monday!!! I was kinda shocked. Well, REALLY shocked. I started thinking they were just shipping standard stock. I looked forward to its arrival with trepidation that I'd have to try to figure out how to return it .... yada yada yada. Welp, it arrived on Wednesday, fit my custom space PERFECTLY, is very well made, not a piece of foam--this is an actual mattress!!! So, off I went camping! Well, it was rainy, incredibly windy and COLD. I slept like a baby. No pain. NO PAIN! Woohoooo! The product is quality and the customer service par none!!! ~k
