I am really enjoying this massager -- It is set up near our TV/movie area, and when anyone here really wants to relax, we pair it with a foot massager as well. The best! The shiatsu feature is really nice, and while it obviously doesn't work as well as one of the $2,000 massage chairs, this device goes a long way for the money. I just removed the black padding to make the massage more gentle, because... once you're getting a massage, might as well feel it :) Thanks for a nice product!

This is a review of " CuPiLo Shiatsu Back Neck Massager with Heat, Kneading Full Body Massage Chair for Back Pain, Inflatable Flaps, Electric Massage Seat Cushion, Seat Massage Pad, Christmas Gifts for Dad, Mom, Him, Her [As a vine reviewer, I am pledging not to be compensated or influenced by the vendor; I state my opinions based on my personal experience without any bias or pressure] If you have experienced shiatsu massage, you know that it works to give you some relief from sore muscles and general stress. You have also probably seen some chairs advertise such massaging features. This particular product combines the idea of a massage chair at a cheaper price by offering an add-on to your chair. The product itself has two parts to it: 1. A neck massage section and 2. The cushion section The unit is powered by AC but the actual power supply is through a DC transformer (think like an iphone charger) and this minimizing the possibility of any current touching you. The unit is controlled through a nice TV-remote type control. Both the back and the seat are controlled through the remote. The manual that comes with this unit is quite good and clear. In my experience, this idea definitely works! I put it on my office chair and enjoyed several types of massages offered with or with vibration or with heating. All these functions work well. The remote control is nicely designed and carries out all commands promptly without any delay. It can be tucked in to the chair and that will save some space too. The best feature is the neck-massage (Shiatsu). This truly simulates the kneading of a human operator manning the Shiatsu station at your local mall. The effect is pretty good and I got fair bit of comfort in my neck (I had slept on the wrong side of the bed). The timer is another thoughtful feature to keep your session well timed. This is a large unit and can topple from your chair if you are not sitting. So a few pieces of advice to get the most out of the unit: 1. Keep the unit disconnected from the mains until you are ready for your massage. This to avoid any electronics being fried if there is a surge 2. Keep a towel over the neck section at all times. This is to prevent hair from falling on the neck massager section as the clothing covering the massager may not be removable 3. Do use the strap to secure the unit to your chair (they have Velcro straps to hold it in place). On the whole, I really liked the look, feel and build quality of this unit. It works exactly as stated. I have a feeling I may be able to get several years of service from this. But it will need some good maintenance (such as covering the unit when not in use to avoid dust, etc). But based on my overall experience, this unit is a much-needed provider of relief to a lot of people, especially senior citizens and for the price point at which this is offered, I have to give it the full five stars.

I have multiple other massage devices from pillows, straps, massage guns, etc. Ultimately I feel like nothing really compares to an actual masseuse. The closest thing would be a full fledged massage chair but those take a lot of space and cost quite a bit for an excellent one. This massage chair pad is probably the next best thing, but at a much much more affordable price (and space saving) than a decent massage chair. It is still fairly large and comes in a large box. The material is really nice. The back portion is rigid and the heaviest part of this device, the bottom is essentially a soft pad that can also be flipped up/down. There are straps in the back for chairs. There is a flap that can come down the top too which can also be inflated/deflated to preference with a small pump (included). There is also a nice little pocket on the left which can be used to hold the remote. Quality is really nice. They used multiple types of fabric for different parts of this which was fairly thoughtful. The diamond design on the sides give this a significantly more premium appearance. The neck portion feels soft and slick. Remote is easy to use and well thought out with the placement of the buttons, its more thoughtful than even some cheaper full fledged massage chairs I've used. The massage feels nice. The bottom vibrates, the back portion can be used to either roll up/down or shiatsu and can be moved by the remote to focus in on an area, focus top/bottom, or do the entire back, and the neck does shiatsu. All three parts can be turned on/off separately. I personally find that my positioning is a bit awkward to use the neck massage while also using the back massage at the same time but then again I am using this in a couch rather than a chair with a full back so it may just be my set up. Overall, I think it makes a big difference over a simple massage cushion or pillow as this set up allows the rollers to cover the entire back and move up and down. Although I have not strapped the device into my couch, I find that as long as I have it leaned against the back and wall, it doesn't really shuffle around. However, unless your couch is as flush against the wall as mine is, I would recommend strapping this to a high chair for best use as it definitely is top heavy and can fall over easily otherwise.

This massager is is way bigger than I expected and works very well. My husband has a massage and heated recliner that he has used for several years and he said this massager works just as well as his more expensive chair, making this a great value! The quality is very well manufactured and provides a variety of massage levels with the provided remote. The instructions are easy to follow for set up. My husband is a taller guy and finds it comfortable and relaxing to use. It is a bit on the larger size so would work well on a larger office chair or recliner. If you are looking for a massager I would highly recommend this.
