What a waste of money! I bought this wheelchair thinking it would allow me to get around the house easier and get outside to check the mail. But I was wrong. After trying it out, it was nearly impossible to control the direction. The joystick does not respond very well. Turning right was ok. It struggled to turn, but it would eventually turn. However the chair wouldn't turn left. I almost tipped over twice. The maneuverability was absolutely terrible and I warn anyone considering this item. It is not safe to drive. ... show more

I got this to help my husband get around more. It has a good battery life and it folds up nicely to fit in my trunk. We had no issues going through security at the airport or when on cruises.
