I like this this gaming system. It's important to realize that this is meant to be an inexpensive and an arcade screen quality experience. Each game is a bit of a choose your own adventure. Some of the games are in a foreign language (Japanese?) and so you get to push buttons to explore and see what they do and then figure out how each game is played. I am impressed that it has the ability to display on our TV. It uses a special cable that has a 3.5mm round headphone jack style cable that connects to the game console and has 1 video yellow RCA cable and 1 white RCA cable for audio. Our TV only has HDMI and does not have RCA ports, so we we had to get an RCA to HDMI adapter, which works well. The round audio style cable does not fit snugly into the jack, so, you know how you sometimes get static if you wiggle an old headphone cable in it's jack? Well, if you bump this round video cable, it will do the same thing to the TV's video. Also keep in mind it doesn't include a rectangular AC to USB-A adaptor. The secondary controller is great for two player games. Most of the 2 player capable games are Turn Taking style. The R button lets you exit a game and go back to the list of games menu. Overall, I think the game system is worth the money, but set your video quality expectations as if you were in 1970 or 1980. Think Pacman visuals. I like that there are no commercials that might be objectionable to little kids. It is good for what it is, an inexpensive, arcade based, hand held system. ... show more

Don't expect more modern graphics, controller design etc and this has a lot of fun to be had. The L/R "button" on the actual machine are just for looks and grips. It has a ton of classic games. It hooks up to older TV's my living room TV doesn't have the old audio/video hookups but my bedroom one does and it looks about like the old games would look with no HD/4K etc. The games here vary from 6 different categories, but I think they are all ROMs and run off an emulator. The games may be English, Japanese, or Chinese in some cases. The small controller it comes with can only be used in 2 player games and these games are best ran through the tv since the screen is so small. This review is for the red system. Do not pay attention the picture on the screen it is way too bright with better graphics than the actual games that are on this. I'm not saying these games are bad...on the contrary they are fun to play, just don't expect anything over original Nintendo style games. ... show more

There are around 240 games on this little device. You can use it as a handheld game or hook it up to your TV, and use the little joystick to play on a larger screen. The games are old-school games, which I appreciate. Graphics are clear and sound is good. I removed a star for language barrier in some of these games. Several have their on-screen instructions or 'conversations' between characters in what I believe is Chinese. Unless you can read it, there is no way to understand it...no settings to change language. The game menus themselves are in English, as are many of the games individually. Just not all. This makes these games difficult to play, so removal of one star. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Nice mini game console with fun games. I thought that my kids wouldn’t like the old school gaming system and they loved it! My 8 year old and 5 year old play for hours. It’s great that it has the capability of 2 players in many of the games, and it has a nice variety of games. Very fun. Even my husband loved it and played on it for a long time.
