I've always wanted a stand mixer, but they're so expensive - until I found this one! I just got it yesterday so I've only made whipped cream with it which was fast and easy! I used the splash guard because I didn't know if it would splatter, but the bowl is deep enough and so I didn't need it. The color is called Frosted Blue and it's a beautiful shade of powder blue - exactly what I was looking for and looks great in my kitchen. It has 12 speeds which is great and a speed guide around the speed dial which is very handy for a beginner like me! And it's nice and heavy so the mixer stays put on the highest speed. So far I really like this mixer. It's sturdy. All the attachments were there. I had a cheap one I got from a Lidl a long time ago and it finally broke. I expect this one to last much longer. For one, it does not shake around when I try to make a bread dough, so I'm not holding it in place and trying to minimize the movement of the machine as it mixes. For two, the materials used are better quality than the one I bought before and this one is more powerful. I like the color options. It's just nice to have something to brighten an area up. I feel like this mixes just as well as my mom's kitchen aid mixer, but was cheaper. I can't speak in comparison for longevity though as my mom still has her kitchen aid and I just purchased this. It fits under on my counter and slides under the top cabinets without issue. But it won't raise up under the cabinet. I pull it out from under the cabinet to use it. ... show more

We bought this to upyfrom a hand mixer until we purchase a KitchenAid, but it works so well no need to buy anything else. Perhaps we just got caught up in all the chatter about KitchenAid. We nearly missed iut in this gem. Now this model corrected a previous version so do your homework to be sure you are getting the model you want. We have made batches of chocolate chip cookies and baking a cake now. We plan to make fresh bread... supposedly dough is where the Cuisinart separates from the Kitchen Aid with the latter as superior; I cannot speak to that yet. What I know is that it cut our prep time considerably, it fits underneath the counter cabinet, it's quiet, it's efficient and it is a third of the KitchenAid cost. So I brought this over Christmas Day for my son and daughter-in-law who were cooking and she started to make mashed potatoes and instead of using the hand mixer I had her open the box to this most beautiful mixer. Making bread just got so much easier. However do not just dump all your ingredients in and expect magic. I would do liquid ingredients and then slowly add the solids in, otherwise flour will pool at the bottom and not get mixed in properly. Also keep an eye on the bowl, it slowly vibrated out of the locked position. Finely, the pouring add on does not clip into place and is loose so it's kind of hard to use. But the mixer does work very well. I made peanut butter bread to test it out and the hunny hubby was very happy with the way the bread turned out. ... show more

I did so much research before choosing this Cuisinart mixer. I didn't really want to spend more just to have a Kitchen aid smaller mixer. This was bigger size and looked just as nice. I don't regret it at all. I have used it at least twice a week to make flatbread for my kids. It saves me time and effort on baking. I look forward to making frosting with this. Previously I had only a hand mixer and that was definitely something that I will happily never have to do again!! I'm so glad I didn't spend that money just for the top brand name. ... show more

IN LOVE. First of all - fun fact I learned AFTER buying my machine: “standard” Cuisnart stand mixers have ALMOST DOUBLE the wattage that “standard” Kitchen Aid stand mixers do. What does that mean? The motor is more powerful - which likely means longer lasting/more sturdy - and the obvious - it can handle more (i.e.: thick doughs, long whipping sessions, etc). I mean, at least that’s what it means to ME. Anyway, I LOVE my Cuisinart. I had my Grandmother’s hand me down Kitchen Aid for years, but when I didn’t anymore - I opted for a Cuisinart. At the time, I got it for more than $100 less than what a Kitchen Aid cost. It’s SUPER quiet, it’s BEAUTIFUL….and I’m still thinking of a name for her - but I’m definitely in LOOOVE. 😍🥰😘 P.S.
