  • Great idea, flaky timer, poor QC, and terrible support
Style: Manual Color: Blushing Coral
There's a lot to like about this unit: as an air fryer, it has the largest surface area I found, larger than the biggest Phillips or GoWise units (and surface area, rather than volume, is what really matters). It makes some delicious food and ticks some excellent boxes. Unlike the GoWise air fryer I had started with, but returned because the coating on the pan was coming off after only 3 uses, these trays are more durable. I debated whether to give it 2 or 3 stars, and overall I am keeping it so I gave it 3. But there are some pretty serious drawbacks. The first is quality control. On the first unit I had, only 2 of the 4 upper heating elements would ever work on any setting. (Note that only the outer 2 are enabled on some settings, such as broil, so that appears to be at least somewhat normal.) Moreover, the timer was wrong -- set it to 10 minutes, and you get 14. Set it to 20, and you get 24. Very consistently off like that. On these grounds, I returned it. The replacement has working heating elements, but its timer runs 6 minutes long: 15 minutes gets you 21. This is very consistent. The label on the timer clearly had an inappropriately large gap between 10 minutes and 0, and this seems to be a design defect for the entire unit. I saw a lot of people here complain about the unit being too hot. I did not experience that, but it is possible that the timer's inaccuracy would cause people to think that. The replacement unit also had uneven feet and doesn't sit quite still on the counter. Secondly, the Cuisinart service. They could not tell me the difference between convection bake, convection broil, and convection air fry. Moreover, they promised to have a replacement for my timer problem at my door in 7-10 days. It's been more than that, and all they say when I call is that the warehouse is "processing". They said it could take weeks for "processing", and it would be 7-10 days after THAT. They also outright lied to me (saying the warehouse didn't have a phone; found the number on the Internet). So if you're wondering about the different settings, here's what they do: Convection bake: both bottom elements and outer two upper elements Convection broil: outer two upper elements only Air fry: all 4 upper elements only This isn't clearly stated in the manual and Cuisinart doesn't seem to know what their own product does. All three of these have the fan on high. The non-convection bake and broil have the fan on low but are otherwise the same. Bottom line: do not buy this for the warranty. It is so slow as to be indistinguishable from not existing. Buy it and a $5 digital kitchen timer. ... show more

  • It's easy to use
Style: Manual Color: Blushing Coral
There were many models to choose from. I compared models and brands. I had a regular Cuisinart toaster oven that was old and starting to die. I bought the TOA 60. And I must say it works like a charm. I've toasted, baked and used the air fryer. I made salmon with panko bread crumbs for the salmon. Wow ! I was amazed how well it cooked it in the air fryer mode. It has a light that comes on whatever mode you're using. Easy to clean up too. I would recommend this product with 10 stars !!! ps there are many models so check out the specs. You may not need ALL the bells and whistles. ... show more

  • Perfect appliance addition
Style: Manual Color: Blushing Coral
This is so nice. Well made. I love that it can do so much. Its still small enough to fit in a corner. I bought this to replace my microwave. I dont think ill be getting another microwave ever again. This is great for pizza and airfrying chicken nuggets, jalapenos poppers etc. We made pizza and poppers and they came out excellent. Just like at a restaurant. You do need to put the heat down. So, it called for 450 oven degrees on the box 10 min for the poppers and i put 350 at 10 mi . And they came out amazing. Buy it! U wont regret it ... show more

  • Love this!
Style: Manual Color: Agave Green
I've only had this for about a month. I've made cookies and cakes. I didn't like using the dough hook to make tortilla dough, so I used the mixer hook (which I use for cookies) instead, and it worked great! I'm loving this product and the seafoam green color is beautiful !

  • Easy to use and cooks variety of food items
Style: Manual Color: Blushing Coral
This is my favorite duo purpose countertop kitchen items. I’ve used this mainly to bake chicken/squash, air fried potatoes and toast bread. However, I do wish the main knob doesn’t give out under two years. Their warranty is good and they are very good with replacement of the item if it stopped working within 2 years. ... show more

  • Does everything we hoped it would do, sometimes even better. We love it!
Style: Manual Color: Blushing Coral
I had reservations about buying this unit because of the venomous 1-star reviews. After using this unit for a few weeks I have to assume that there were either a large number of defective products sent out (quite unusual for Cuisinart), or that some people have unrealistic expectations of a toaster oven/air fryer. Disclaimer: I've always had toaster ovens as a kitchen accessory and have had to learn each one of their quirks. This one has fewer than many I've owned. That said, it cooks fast. Very fast. Where with my previous one you had to bump the temp about 25 degrees more than you thought needed and could walk away from it, this one cooks in much less than the time expected and you need to watch it carefully. That should change as we learn how it performs. It seems best to fade back a bit from the recommended times and temps in their manual and recipe book. This thing is powerful. My favorite dish so far is chicken wing drumettes. I've always cooked my famous buffalo wings in a peanut oil deep-fryer, then dip them in sauce and dry them for a bit in the oven. Set this at 400 on air-fry, cook for 10 minutes, flip them over and cook for 10 more and they honestly look like I just pulled them out of my fryer. My wife swears they are even better. Traitor! Garlic toast and English muffins seem to crisp up faster and retain inside moistness better than any toaster oven I've ever used. Frozen french fries and shrimp are a breeze. Tonight she did some fresh zucchini wedges that I was sure were going to be boring and they turned out awesome. Long story short, we love it so far and look forward to experimenting with it for years to come. We've had great luck with Cuisinart appliances over the years and in the few times we had problems with them, their customer service people have bent over backwards to help us and always treated us fairly. Love it and if it blew up tomorrow, I'd buy it again. ... show more

  • Overall very good
Style: Manual Color: Blushing Coral
I mostly love this because it does it all, air fry, bake, toast, broil. I prefer this over a "bucket" style air fryer. I feel it cooks more evenly. My biggest complaint is it is not so easy to clean when the food spatters.

  • So far so great!
Style: Manual Color: Blushing Coral
I need to play around with the temps more, but I'm loving this little oven so far! I got a slamming deal on the pre-prime days recently, very happy with my purchase
